Dusty Chalk Posted January 18, 2008 Report Posted January 18, 2008 And here I was, thinking you had some long-documented hatred towards Old Bay seasoning which I had totally missed.
Dusty Chalk Posted January 18, 2008 Report Posted January 18, 2008 No, that's what I'm saying -- my thought was totally misguided. I.E. never mind.
grawk Posted January 18, 2008 Report Posted January 18, 2008 I wouldn't attempt old bay on popcorn. It's nasty enough on potato chips. Old bay on seafood. Salt on popcorn.
Dusty Chalk Posted January 18, 2008 Report Posted January 18, 2008 Brush your teef brush your teef brush your goddamn teef...
ecclesand Posted January 18, 2008 Report Posted January 18, 2008 Lawry's Seasoned Salt is pretty good on popcorn...but it has to be whole kernels popped in hot oil. Good stuff!
Dusty Chalk Posted January 18, 2008 Report Posted January 18, 2008 wasn't that great?I'd seen it before, but yes, it's great.
deepak Posted January 18, 2008 Report Posted January 18, 2008 Needs more popcorn suggestions. I will have to try the olive oil suggestions (or peanut oil, yum). I usually stove pop with a small bit of butter and whatever spice I feel like. Chili powder is what I usually use. But if I'm watching a movie I usually have something called Movie Theater brand?? light butter, light salted microwavable kind.
Dusty Chalk Posted January 18, 2008 Report Posted January 18, 2008 Needs more popcorn suggestions.Yeah, we kind of went off on a bit of a tangent there, didn't we?
