Thank you Postjack, the 24 bit is tremendous

Just for fun, try this experiment. Open the 24 bit recording in a sound editor, aligning the file so that the loudest point in the performance is at 0dB. Then convert it to 16bit with dither. See if you can tell the difference :)

I downloaded the 1st song in 16 and then in 24. There seems to be a difference in clarity on the cymbals and guitar when I play them back .... you think it's just a volume difference?

So I was proudly telling my hardcore Ryan Adams fan friend about these cool soundboards I found on the internet. He then pointed me here:

apparently Ryan Adams lets random fan tapers put mics on the stage and record through his soundboard because he is a BADASS. there are more soundboards on there then I know what to do with, but I'm grabbing as many as I can. :dance:
