Duggeh Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 It would seem that a design requirement would be a longer cable than on his Sonys. Quote
deepak Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 Sony is good for absolutely nothing Alternatively he's leaning by his monitors because his Sony's have too much treble and too little bass Quote
bhd812 Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 $400.00 who are they marketed towards? anyone know? dj's would not be in cause they don't seem to swivel Quote
postjack Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 who are they marketed towards? assholes, I would think. Quote
Dusty Chalk Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 Ooooo...black headphones... I disagree that they're a disappointment -- I mean, they're from Monster Cable, so expectations won't be high. Quote

postjack Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 I disagree that they're a disappointment -- I mean, they're from Monster Cable, so expectations won't be high. True, but by disappointment, what I meant was that instead of a new Sennheiser flagship, we have a new Monster Cable flagship. Quote
Duggeh Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 Routing flagship back to its roots as a word, wouldn't a Monster Cables flagship come in a large box about 3/16 of an inch too wide to fit into an estate car and during construction be found to have 3 or 4 screws missing, and at the end of the day be like James May's floating Triumph Herald Which pitted against the HMS Invincible of the HD650. Even though we didn't get the new Queen Elisabeth Class Carrier of the HD700, the HD650 is still better than what was launched by the Compton Navy under the command of Captain Dre. Quote
Dusty Chalk Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 So, grawk...would that be an example of hyperbole without inflammatory intent? Quote
grawk Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 Would what be? I could care less about senn flagship headphones, so haven't read this closely. Quote
Dusty Chalk Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 Would what be? I could care less about senn flagship headphones, so haven't read this closely.Don't worry about it, it was a rhetorical question. Quote
n_maher Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 So, grawk...would that be an example of hyperbole without inflammatory intent? Oh lord, don't start in with that again. Quote
Thelonious Monk Posted January 12, 2008 Report Posted January 12, 2008 Would what be? I could care less about senn flagship headphones, so haven't read this closely. Pet peeve. Quote
Dusty Chalk Posted January 12, 2008 Report Posted January 12, 2008 Disagree. If what the author meant was, "I could care less...not much, but I could...", then it's toward the bottom end of that scale, which is not much different from "I couldn't care less". Also, he could have been being sarcastic. "I could care less...no, wait, no I couldn't..." Quote
Dusty Chalk Posted January 12, 2008 Report Posted January 12, 2008 That's okay. Sometimes I give Dan a hard time back, sometimes I have his back, it's all good. Quote
elnero Posted January 12, 2008 Report Posted January 12, 2008 Has anyone seen pricing on the IEM's as yet? Quote
Cynric Posted January 12, 2008 Report Posted January 12, 2008 These MC phones are really uglyl imho. Also according to a guy who asked Senn about it, the HD700 will be named HD800 because 700 is a 'bad number' in some asian cultures... no word on a when though. Quote
