Spiug31 Posted December 28, 2007 Report Posted December 28, 2007 Has anyone had any experiences with the Furutech FP-682 or FP-681 http://www.thecableco.com/product.php?id=4201 I'm wondering whether the rhodium or gold version of these are any improvement over the Neutrik or Switchcraft alternatives. This is me window shopping connectors for a balanced Beta22.
thrice Posted December 28, 2007 Report Posted December 28, 2007 At $70 a pair, you'd hope they sound better. I've yet to hear a difference between panel components though and I've tried a few, mostly Cardas stuff and some Neutrik and Switchcraft stuff. I tend to go with things that are well-constructed over the marketing hype about better sound. I'm sure someone thinks that certain connectors sound better than others and they may be right. I've yet to hear otherwise though.
tiberian Posted December 28, 2007 Report Posted December 28, 2007 don't bother with the rhodium plated stuff.
