Pars Posted March 21, 2009 Report Posted March 21, 2009 Supertramp... Live in the City of Lights (IIRC)... Simple Minds as well (their live album in Paris) The Sensational Alex Harvey Band A Flock of Seagulls (I just love the guitarist's sound) thats all I can think of right now
postjack Posted March 21, 2009 Report Posted March 21, 2009 I might even listen to a bit of Phil Collins era Genesis Awesome. If defining guilty pleasure as listening to music other people think sucks and therefore think I should feel guilty about listening to it, then Phil Collins solo stuff is my guilty pleasure, though I certainly feel zero guilt about Collins' masterfully crafted and beautifully recorded pop hits. His first three albums are masterpieces from a purely sonic perspective, which certainly doesn't hurt my enjoyment of them.
aerius Posted March 26, 2009 Report Posted March 26, 2009 I can't pass up an Abba song. I admit to owning nearly a dozen ABBA records. Not counting my Beethoven & Dvorak box sets, that's the most records I own of any one artist or band.
Tachikoma Posted March 27, 2009 Report Posted March 27, 2009 Umm. Linkin Park not including their latest album though.
mulveling Posted March 27, 2009 Report Posted March 27, 2009 * Olivia Newton John * ABBA * Some of that sappy anime soundtrack music I collected a few years back * One of the elevator-music-on-steroids albums I found in my parents' old stash - "Mauriat Magic". It has one the HOTTEST covers I've seen, though
