postjack Posted December 24, 2007 Report Posted December 24, 2007 What do you think the best headphones for the Christmas Holiday season are? I'd say the GS1000.
PFKMan23 Posted December 24, 2007 Report Posted December 24, 2007 What do you think the best headphones for the Christmas Holiday season are? I'd say the GS1000. My ears, they bleed so I stab at thee. For me it will probably be the K1k or VTG.
Salt Peanuts Posted December 24, 2007 Report Posted December 24, 2007 K1000 if I could you it, for now, Etys so I can drown out the heater noise.
HiWire Posted December 24, 2007 Report Posted December 24, 2007 I'd love a pair of Alessandro MS-Pros for Christmas.
pabbi1 Posted December 24, 2007 Report Posted December 24, 2007 Laugh all you want - A.P.S. _balanced_ RP-21, with leather Beyer pads...
n_maher Posted December 24, 2007 Report Posted December 24, 2007 HE60s? StaX something (lambda pro, sigma pro)?? Those are really the only two things that are going to get me buying headphones again. Other than that I'm done with dynamics with one caveat, I'm curious what can or cans Sennheiser is going to unveil at CES in a week a week and a half.
Salt Peanuts Posted December 24, 2007 Report Posted December 24, 2007 Now, if we're talking about what headphones I would want for the season, it would be RS-1 or OII. Never mind that I used to own both of them at one point or another.
postjack Posted December 24, 2007 Author Report Posted December 24, 2007 This is not the headphones you want for Christmas, but the best Christmas Holiday headphones.
Salt Peanuts Posted December 24, 2007 Report Posted December 24, 2007 This is not the headphones you want for Christmas, but the best Christmas Holiday headphones. Okedoke. Then my previous entry stays - if I want to share my joy, then it's K1000. On the other hand, ER4 if I want to keep it all to myself.
pabbi1 Posted December 24, 2007 Report Posted December 24, 2007 This is not the headphones you want for Christmas, but the best Christmas Holiday headphones. Yes, indeed - mine are wrapped and under the tree - waiting for Alex to get back from Norway...
en480c4 Posted December 24, 2007 Report Posted December 24, 2007 Mistletoe or not, good luck getting a girl to kiss you if you're wearing K1000s!!!
aerius Posted December 24, 2007 Report Posted December 24, 2007 Mistletoe or not, good luck getting a girl to kiss you if you're wearing K1000s!!! A problem which is easily remedied with generous servings of alcohol.
kitaoji Posted December 24, 2007 Report Posted December 24, 2007 K1000s... which I did. Heck, I traded my Christmas holiday trip (and am working my ass off in the library) for the K1000s.
Fungi Posted December 25, 2007 Report Posted December 25, 2007 I'm curious what can or cans Sennheiser is going to unveil at CES in a week a week and a half. I see what you did there.
Dusty Chalk Posted December 25, 2007 Report Posted December 25, 2007 Mistletoe or not, good luck getting a girl to kiss you if you're wearing K1000s!!!Dude, it's not what you wear, but how you wear it.
bhjazz Posted December 25, 2007 Report Posted December 25, 2007 A problem which is easily remedied with generous servings of alcohol. A, touch?. And if I get to choose the music I'm listening to during such kiss... +10 points!
deepak Posted December 25, 2007 Report Posted December 25, 2007 K1000 + 300B monoblocks + blues musicians singing Christmas songs? (which I did get to see at O'Hare Airport )
Salt Peanuts Posted December 25, 2007 Report Posted December 25, 2007 K1000 + 300B monoblocks + blues musicians singing Christmas songs? (which I did get to see at O'Hare Airport ) You know, I've only been to O'Hare once, 18 years ago. I hope never to go there again.
deepak Posted December 25, 2007 Report Posted December 25, 2007 You know, I've only been to O'Hare once, 18 years ago. I hope never to go there again. Me too man, it was a nightmare on Christmas Eve But that live blues made my entire day better, and the two hour delay totally worth it.
Salt Peanuts Posted December 25, 2007 Report Posted December 25, 2007 I had to go there when my family was moving to US from Japan - we had a connecting flight. At the customs, they proceeded to empty out every single one of our suitcases (we had four or five, IIRC). We missed the connecting flight while trying to pack them up again. It was a rather annoying turn of event as none of us spoke English all that well - the lady at the airline counter flapped her arms like wings to tell us that our connecting flight had already left. It was good times.
Happy Camper Posted December 25, 2007 Report Posted December 25, 2007 RS-1. From the poorer side of town. K1000s would be nice but you have to build a rig around those. Being a noob, I have determined to do this without credit card.
carlineng Posted December 27, 2007 Report Posted December 27, 2007 Reputable sources tell me that Santa wears Jecklin Floats.
