Sorry to argue, but that's what's known as a coping mechanism. The remedy is moving somewhere warm.

It took me 40 years to learn that.

Seriously, it was so nice here yesterday that I rode my bike to work. I think the last time I did that in November it was 19F when I left the house.  Yesterday it was 52F and was still in the 60s when I got home (after dark).  It was funny to ride by the various small bodies of water near my house and feel how cold the thermal influence of that mass made the surrounding air.  It was like riding through pockets of the refrigerated isle at the grocery store.

Getting real.  Snow plow guy just stopped in to put in stakes.

Depencs on storm track but 4-6 inches expected Monday.  Don't think they will install new roof until Wednesday.

Calling for 6-9" here.  Good luck to everyone in the northeast!

8-12" here, snow blower is gassed up, so is the generator, and there's bacon in the fridge.

Glad it's you.  When snow hits west Michigan it usually wacks us with both snow and lake effect snow.  The double whammy.  This year it has all gone north or south of us.  No accumulation yet which is unheard of here!

I only got 4-5" in central Jersey.  But I managed to burry the snow blower in the back of the garage so I spent at least 30 min digging it out.  Thankfully it fired right up

My wife constantly hounds me about moving somewhere warmer.  I like the idea of not having to lift the windshield wipers every time it snows in winter.  Basically we forget every time.

Just some nice soaking rain. Very welcome. Sunny and in the 60s through the weekend. Jolly good.

Yep, that is pretty much what we had today and will have for the weekend.
