biscuits and gravy...mmm biscuitville, how I love thee.

We've got a little drive-through shack called Sunrise Biscuit Kitchen. Oh man, are they ever good.... warms your soul on a cold day. The sausage biscuit is just enough to get you going in the morning.

snow wasn't the problem, but the layer of ice that developed was. somehow, despite this being forecasted several days ago, Cincinnati was unprepared. shocker! took me an hour to walk home from work. usually takes about 15 minutes (i take a university shuttle for part of it, but still).

If walking takes that long, maybe you should try biking.

...I'll get my coat. ;D

Day after Christmas was up to 40F. Good for space management (shoveled snow compacted so more can be fit) but not walking. 80% of the spaniels' usual evening mile long walking route is now glare ice. And now it's snowing pretty good out there. Powder snow on glare ice = YEEEHAAAA!

I always look at that and feel warmth :)

This is the version of that location that feels cold to me:

Yeah, that one looks kinda cold, too, but not 'palpable'. The first one hits me that way because it's obvious that the dewpoint is such that any moisture in the air instantly condenses.
