Salt Peanuts Posted January 18, 2008 Report Posted January 18, 2008 Bah, still costs way less than a transporter and can be coupled to any DAC you want. There's that. Of course, ideal situation for me would be if one remote can work with multiple unit at the same time. Then I'd get a Duet for my living room, then use the remote for both Duet and SB3 that's setup with my headphone rig.
thrice Posted January 18, 2008 Report Posted January 18, 2008 I like the idea of the Duet, the base station is discrete and plain....just hook it up and don't worry about it. I think that the remote is the issue. If you're going to make it the main screen then the screen needs to be bigger. An iPod Touch-like remote would be killer...perhaps a little bigger... doesn't need to be small, just not cumbersome on your lap or in your hand. Then you could place the base stations throughout your house and just select which one you're controlling from the remote.
