slwiser Posted November 23, 2007 Report Posted November 23, 2007 What does it mean when the moderator applies a special title to you under your username with the word "Facepalm", repeated? Cueless again...

n_maher Posted November 23, 2007 Report Posted November 23, 2007 There is no spoon? And PS, moderators can't change custom titles.
slwiser Posted November 23, 2007 Author Report Posted November 23, 2007 Where did it come from if a moderator or someone else with 'power' did not do it?
ph0rk Posted November 23, 2007 Report Posted November 23, 2007 I'm guessing it is a snub. Or you have smilies drawn on your hands with a sharpie, possibly. Better check there, just in case.
n_maher Posted November 23, 2007 Report Posted November 23, 2007 There are other, more powerful beings than moderators...
Salt Peanuts Posted November 23, 2007 Report Posted November 23, 2007 Where did it come from if a moderator did not do it? TPTB
slwiser Posted November 23, 2007 Author Report Posted November 23, 2007 Oh! So it is site owners' personal attempt at public humiliation. Interesting. I am just wanting to make this clear what this is about. So the is an open site where almost anything goes, so that open discussions without any of the stuff (party line affiliations) that is so much associated around here with Head-Fi.org is not tolerated by those in "power."
ph0rk Posted November 23, 2007 Report Posted November 23, 2007 I'd take a modicum of humiliation over bannination any day. Could be worse - this could be somethingawful.com
Salt Peanuts Posted November 23, 2007 Report Posted November 23, 2007 At least your handle is still the same.
ph0rk Posted November 23, 2007 Report Posted November 23, 2007 Allow me to suggest a new avatar to capitalize on your awesome, custom title:
n_maher Posted November 23, 2007 Report Posted November 23, 2007 I think this thread has run its course.
