Grand Enigma Posted November 21, 2007 Report Posted November 21, 2007 Please post below how you discovered Head-Case. Thanks.
Postal_Blue Posted November 21, 2007 Report Posted November 21, 2007 Heard about it from a head-fi member at a recent meet in Atlanta.
Chekhonte Posted November 21, 2007 Report Posted November 21, 2007 I found it after I was banned from head-fi I did a google search for "banned head-fi".
nibiyabi Posted November 21, 2007 Report Posted November 21, 2007 Housemate -- I had been a lurker for a few months but decided to join once the 'Fi (which I had also virtually stopped posting on, besides the Fantasy Football thread) had been down for several days. I don't really fit in too well with the core group of members here (I am not technologically savvy -- I'm a Psychology/Political Science major), so I've been keeping a relatively low profile while still posting once per day or so to satisfy my urge. Oops! Daily quota met!
slwiser Posted November 21, 2007 Report Posted November 21, 2007 Found the link to Head-Case on another forum.
Grand Enigma Posted November 21, 2007 Author Report Posted November 21, 2007 ad in the back of Juggs magazine See and toddy didnt think it it would be worth the money....
laxx Posted November 21, 2007 Report Posted November 21, 2007 Bored at work awhile back and browsed HF so much daily that I had to look for new forums to browse. =[
guzziguy Posted November 21, 2007 Report Posted November 21, 2007 A Head-Fi member told me about it. So it's his fault that I'm here!
ph0rk Posted November 21, 2007 Report Posted November 21, 2007 A URL hidden away in the faq at rockhopperaudio.com I too lurked for a bit before registering, but I like to get at least a vague sense of the general mood before commencing to thread-crap. That and the smileys confused me.
Mister X Posted November 21, 2007 Report Posted November 21, 2007 Some guy named Zach aimed me a link.
postjack Posted November 21, 2007 Report Posted November 21, 2007 I'm not new, but Earl told me about it.

Oops! Daily quota met! No worries nibby, I'm not technologically savvy at all. I just post a lot and do whatever grawk tells me, no matter how sleazy.
Knuckledragger Posted November 21, 2007 Report Posted November 21, 2007 I commented to a fellow head-fier about how I felt strangled by the enforced politeness and artificial nicety of Head-Fi. He suggested the 'Case. The first thread I read was Kevin Gilmore eviscerating Ray Samuels and the BHD-52
Grand Enigma Posted November 21, 2007 Author Report Posted November 21, 2007 So far word of mouth seems to be the culprit
nibiyabi Posted November 21, 2007 Report Posted November 21, 2007 No worries nibby, I'm not technologically savvy at all. I just post a lot and do whatever grawk tells me, no matter how sleazy. Hey, then maybe I could do whatever you tell me, and I could find someone to do whatever I tell him, and so on, and we could start selling household cleaning products and giving everyone monthly quotas to reach. You in?
HFat Posted November 21, 2007 Report Posted November 21, 2007 Wikipedia. There's someone who keeps removing links to head-case for some reason, calling it advertising... I don't get it: is anyone making money off this site?
Grand Enigma Posted November 21, 2007 Author Report Posted November 21, 2007 If they are the Admins and Mods would sure like to know!
Dusty Chalk Posted November 21, 2007 Report Posted November 21, 2007 Wikipedia. There's someone who keeps removing links to head-case for some reason, calling it advertising... I don't get it: is anyone making money off this site? What entry? If it's the head-case entry, then someone is fucking with us. We should put a call in to wikipedia, and get that traced back. If it's the head-fi entry...well, technically, even that entry is public domain, and the head-fi martinets shouldn't be allowed to take it out, but then, it's wikipedia, so anyone can do what they want. Technically, it's not advertising, but I could see it as being not apropos to the head-fi entry.
HFat Posted November 21, 2007 Report Posted November 21, 2007 What entry? The head-fi entry obviously. I, for one, think a link to head-case certainly belongs there... especially now with the outage. But as long as they can't remove the link from the history, people will find it.

But as long as they can't remove the link from the history, people will find it. I don't care much about a head-case link on the head-fi entry getting removed it's to be expected almost. There are also links on the headphone and headphone amp entries. If those get removed I'll start complaining.
postjack Posted November 21, 2007 Report Posted November 21, 2007 Hey, then maybe I could do whatever you tell me, and I could find someone to do whatever I tell him, and so on, and we could start selling household cleaning products and giving everyone monthly quotas to reach. You in? Yes, this is pleasing to me. First, I want you to feel this shirt. Soft, isn't it? I bet you think this shirt came from one of those ritzy department stores in NYC, right? Wrong. I got a shirt this nice, from Confederate Products, on my own personal store website, www.makemoney99999998.com, and you can to with a FREE information starter kit. I sell these shirts from my own home, and last month I made $14,000!
Fungi Posted November 21, 2007 Report Posted November 21, 2007 It was one of the first results for googling [head-fi]
