dreamwhisper Posted November 18, 2009 Report Posted November 18, 2009 I remember hearing Umbrella on the radio and I actually had no idea what the song was about until I saw that it was called Umbrella she says (well its actually the delay effect) ella and/or hella just as much or more than umbrella, which could be of interest to someone who is interested in subconscious psychology that aside, she does have admittedly excellent production (like most big names, because they can afford it) However imo she is bested by Bjork on the grounds of both quality of production and quality of content I doubt Holland will get this, but one of the most accessible jazz albums in history is Miles Davis - Kind of Blue and if you like that, also check out Cannonball & Coltrane's album:Amazon.com: Cannonball and Coltrane: Cannonball Adderley & John Coltrane: Music The second one is particular is friendly to hifi soundstaging because each saxophone is projected from a different side. It's been a while since I've listened to Kind of Blue (I'm a little sick of both) but I don't recall it being particularly unfriendly to someone with refined soundstage sensibilities.
Elephas Posted November 19, 2009 Author Report Posted November 19, 2009 Those photos are obviously photoshopped.
