The Monkey Posted November 18, 2007 Report Posted November 18, 2007 Damnit, I missed the original post. On a side note, $700 for PS-1? Damn. It appears that my initial offer was deemed a bit low.

On topic, I wouldn't buy a new production RS-1 after hearing both new and old at the recent NYC meet. Of course given how I feel about my woodied HF-1s I wouldn't bother with any of them.

Of course, a part of me wonders if it's just the aging that's making the noticeable differences, or differences in the drivers.

I've always been curious about this as well. I'll just stick with my belief that RS-1s require a good 10 years to burn in.
