Edwood
Until now. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=270187476795&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=017 Seller hasn't responded to my question about what the serial number is, and the fact that he probably stole those pics. Unless he happens to be a Head-Fi member. Given the fact that the bidders list is private, smells like a scam to me. Might as well be payment only by Western Union. Dusty Chalk
Ha-ha, his head-fi link is down. 's'probably the first good thing to come out of head-fi's down-ness. You should report it. I would, but my link is at work, and I'm too lazy to look it up right now.
milkpowder
I wouldn't touch it. The seller's feedback is nothing out of the ordinary on a superficial level, but like you said, edwood, the private bidding does smell fishy. Even if he accepts Paypal, they will only give you $200 in compensation. That will hardly cover the cost of a replacement headband, for example. APureSound
Those pictures have been used before so it is 99.9999995% a scam.
Elephas
I think I've seen those photos before. The seller replied to me: "Hello! The serial number is 11XX.I am curently on a business trip. I'll reach back home on Saturday. Be sure I will provide more photos to the winning bidder if he/she will request. Don't worry. The headphones are mine and are in my possesion. Good luck bidding! Best regards, Ben" There's another R10 on eBay.
