grawk Posted November 13, 2007 Report Posted November 13, 2007 Cold beer. Bass Ale, and some Sam Adams Winter Lager... Not good enough. Sorry. Enjoy the lobby, people pass through occassionally.
Dusty Chalk Posted November 13, 2007 Report Posted November 13, 2007 Not good enough. Sorry. Enjoy the lobby, people pass through occassionally. Dude, it's free beer -- my favourite.
grawk Posted November 13, 2007 Report Posted November 13, 2007 Dude, it's free beer -- my favourite. For a lightweight like you, cost shouldn't matter at all I admit free factors in. But you know, we can drink it with him in the lobby.
nelamvr6 Posted November 13, 2007 Author Report Posted November 13, 2007 Dude, it's free beer -- my favourite. Free Cold beer!
nelamvr6 Posted November 13, 2007 Author Report Posted November 13, 2007 Not good enough. Sorry. Enjoy the lobby, people pass through occassionally. What the fuck could possibly be better than Bass Ale?
nelamvr6 Posted November 13, 2007 Author Report Posted November 13, 2007 probably too cold, then you can't really taste it. Nope, it's just right. I chilled it myself, it's right about 45 degrees F.
grawk Posted November 13, 2007 Report Posted November 13, 2007 What the fuck could possibly be better than Bass Ale? That's easy. Good beer.
nickknutson Posted November 13, 2007 Report Posted November 13, 2007 Free Cold beer! Cold piss water! Find me a bottle of Johnnie Walker Blue Label, and I'll see if I can sneak you in.
grawk Posted November 13, 2007 Report Posted November 13, 2007 Cold is the only way to drink bass. Any warmer than 35, and you start to taste it.
nelamvr6 Posted November 13, 2007 Author Report Posted November 13, 2007 That's easy. Good beer. I haven't really had a chance to check yet, is there a beer thread here? Looks like I got here not a moment too soon!
grawk Posted November 13, 2007 Report Posted November 13, 2007 I haven't really had a chance to check yet, is there a beer thread here? Looks like I got here not a moment too soon! There's a whole subforum on consuming beverages.

grawk Posted November 13, 2007 Report Posted November 13, 2007 yuengling is good for cooling off on a hot summer day. But it's not good beer, no. And I'm not FROM PA. I'm IN PA.

I suppose PA is a good place to be from... So what's good beer? I think I have a sixer of Tecate in my trunk that's not too warm...
909 Posted November 13, 2007 Report Posted November 13, 2007 I didn't realize the kids had put that picture of me online... crazy fuck'n kids these days...

I think I have a sixer of Tecate in my trunk that's not too warm... My favorite beer is affligem trippel. Lots of beers qualify as good. Bass might, if I had it in england. It rarely travels well, however.

grawk Posted November 13, 2007 Report Posted November 13, 2007 I haven't had that one, but I do like me some Belgians... Ales that is. You wouldn't like it. It's not an ale.
nickknutson Posted November 13, 2007 Report Posted November 13, 2007 blue label is pretty mediocre, and heavily overpriced. i would much rather have any of the constituent malts. I went with the Blue Label because of it's price. I personally prefer the Black Label...I'm also a fan of Maker's Mark for my Manhattan's. What's your beverage of choice?

nelamvr6 Posted November 13, 2007 Author Report Posted November 13, 2007 i would start with La Fin Du Monde, and go from there. Affligem Trippel is excellent. i also enjoy many American beers, like Weyerbacher Imperial, and most of the Rogue line up. i like Samuel Smith's Imperial quite a lot. I tried a Fin Du Monde once, never again!
