aerius
It's an excellent phono amp, you should definitely get one. Or maybe you can get their pre-amp...

deepak
aerius any estimate on how much the Wavelength Bugle would cost to build?
aerius
aerius any estimate on how much the Wavelength Bugle would cost to build? Looks to be in the ballpark of $1-1.5k depending on the parts used and how fancy you get with the case. I could be a bit on the low side since I haven't priced out capacitors lately. aerius
And now for something completely different. A push-pull design using directly heated pentodes. Puts out around 4 watts per channel.
spritzer
This could be turned into a Stax amp as well. Could be pretty nice indeed
deepak
I'm going to use the Beetah twenty twos speaker outs with the Duos in the in term. Thanks for all the feedback guys, but I realized an in between amp would drive me crazy and it will be all that much sweeter when I get those 300B amps. And I might get a chance to hear the B22 with some Duos, depending on when it's finished. e: I still need a preamp (preferrably with remote, laziness ftw)
slwiser
Here is another temp solution: http://www.decware.com/newsite/mainmenu.htm?/newsite/dm944.htm&intro for 675$ or http://www.decware.com/newsite/images/tabooblacksmall.jpg for 995$ To be found at www.decware.com . Check out the HDT speakers while you are at it. These have been very well reviewed over in the Asylum and AudioKarma.
deepak
I do appreciate it slwiser, but nothing beats paying nothing to use my B22
Nanoha
What is your pre going to be? Going integrated? Using your b22 as a pre?
deepak
What is your pre going to be? Going integrated? Using your b22 as a pre? The B22 will be an integrated amp (with nice headphone amp ) When I get the blocks I'd like a pre with a remote control.

n_maher
I'm sure the beta could be reconfigured to use both remote volume and source control. That'd be the route I'd go before adding another preamp to the chain.
