Grand Enigma Posted November 7, 2007 Report Posted November 7, 2007 Poor Earth how dare we rape it of its resources.... I find it hard to believe that we are able to use up "billions" of years worth of natural development in just over 100 years. Something doesn't quite add up. Quote

Well when you mash the gas on the Veyron it takes 12 mins to run out of fuel, and you'll need a new set of tires..so that explains some of it Quote
Grand Enigma Posted November 7, 2007 Report Posted November 7, 2007 I imagine more resources are consumed in producing the thing than the car will ever use. Quote
grawk Posted November 7, 2007 Report Posted November 7, 2007 I imagine more resources are consumed in producing the thing than the car will ever use. And given how few miles are driven in them, they're not real strains on oil or co2. Quote

aerius Posted November 7, 2007 Report Posted November 7, 2007 Alright, i'll get back to you when they start producing hybrid sports cars To be honest I'm a lot more excited by the Tesla electric roadster than I am by the wanked out supercars various companies are coming up with these days. Most car companies these days don't fucking get it, their cars are too damn heavy and require huge engines & huge tires to have any kind of decent performance. I could probably count the number of high performance cars which weigh less than 3200 pounds on one hand, 3200 pounds being the weight of my midsize V6 family sedan. Quote
mjg Posted November 7, 2007 Report Posted November 7, 2007 if i was gonna spend that much on a car, rather if i could, i'd rather get one that would assure 100% of the time, all of the time guarunteed sex. Quote
