postjack Posted October 29, 2007 Report Posted October 29, 2007 Can I join your team? I can't make a lot of meetings though... \
n_maher Posted October 29, 2007 Report Posted October 29, 2007 Pffft, don't feel bad Jack, I can't even afford the meetings!
Icarium Posted October 29, 2007 Report Posted October 29, 2007 That's a decent collection ;p But you should check out ayt999s he has every wooden AT ever made. At least 3 pairs of L3000s and some of the non wooden ATs as well ;p
Elephas Posted October 29, 2007 Author Report Posted October 29, 2007 Please, I really don't want or need and can't afford any more headphones, please... well, maybe the Qualia 010.
maschuu Posted October 29, 2007 Report Posted October 29, 2007 After watching the Sony-Thread i knew i shouldn't havw watched this one.... Nice collection, really
deepak Posted October 29, 2007 Report Posted October 29, 2007 Please, I really don't want or need and can't afford any more headphones, please... well, maybe the Qualia 010. You should get a W11r, they're supposed to be really, really good Pics of my L3000
Nanoha Posted October 29, 2007 Report Posted October 29, 2007 You should get a W11r, they're supposed to be really, really good Haha wah? According to whom? I was given chances to purchase them but was advised not to by a number of different people.
Nanoha Posted October 29, 2007 Report Posted October 29, 2007 Jesus Haha. But yeah, none of the accounts I've read had them beating the JPN or W2k2 with the right amp. Team Audio-Technica all the way! A500 + W1000 + 4 x W100 + W2002 + 2 x W10VTG + 2 x W11JPN (Not all at the same time of course. Can't afford that.)
Nanoha Posted October 29, 2007 Report Posted October 29, 2007 Oh btw, Elephas, very nice photo! You're my A-T and Electrostat hero!!! I really hoping to someday own the stuff you have. (Other than the Raptor that is, haha. )
JBLoudG20 Posted October 29, 2007 Report Posted October 29, 2007 Terrible picture.. the lighting is horrible in here, so I just shot with the flash.
deepak Posted October 29, 2007 Report Posted October 29, 2007 You know all that leaves is....Nanoha to post DSLR pics of his W11jpn, which were promised a few moons ago
Dusty Chalk Posted October 29, 2007 Report Posted October 29, 2007 Jesus! Can you run them down, please? I know the leatherheads on the left, but the rest I'm not sure about -- looks like W2002's in the middle, but I'm pretty sure at least two of them are not. And what are those on the right? And why do you need two?
JBLoudG20 Posted October 29, 2007 Report Posted October 29, 2007 W2002 in thge middle, belowe are 2 w11JPN, below that AD2000, and on the right are two w5000's
didwlgh Posted October 30, 2007 Report Posted October 30, 2007 W2002 in thge middle, belowe are 2 w11JPN, below that AD2000, and on the right are two w5000's Man, I should have taken a picture of 4 L3000s when I had them for a while...lol amazing collection.
postjack Posted October 30, 2007 Report Posted October 30, 2007 Elephas, how do you like the AD2000? It has intrigued me for some time.
boomana Posted October 30, 2007 Report Posted October 30, 2007 Nice collection, son. Though I prefer Team Sony, I'll admit to enjoying the W2002 and AD2000, and almost bought the latter until listening to jp11801's pair and knowing it wasn't really for me in the long run.
Elephas Posted October 30, 2007 Author Report Posted October 30, 2007 You're my A-T and Electrostat hero!!! I really hoping to someday own the stuff you have. (Other than the Raptor that is, haha. ) Oh, too bad I was thinking of doing a Raptor giveway specifically for "people with dual personalities on two forums." I remember when I started this headphone craziness two years ago that ayt999 and overlunge were my inspirations. And why do you need two? And I ask why would anyone need three? C'mon, there's a reason headphones are called "a pair" of headphones, you know. Elephas, how do you like the AD2000? It has intrigued me for some time. The AD2000 was either my first love or completely evil, dragging me into the abyss, depending on perspective. It is still one of my favorites. I'm planning to recable it with a balanced Enigma Oracle cable, it is facing stiff competition from the L3000, W5000, W11JPN. Nice collection, son. Though I prefer Team Sony, I'll admit to enjoying the W2002 and AD2000, and almost bought the latter until listening to jp11801's pair and knowing it wasn't really for me in the long run. Mamma! I'm glad you approve. When's Mother's Day, I always forget.
Fred333 Posted October 30, 2007 Report Posted October 30, 2007 Nice pics. Wish I had a collection like that.
boomana Posted October 30, 2007 Report Posted October 30, 2007 Fredbot, tell us what you really think. Start small, maybe with which headphones you might like here, then work your way up to why.
postjack Posted October 30, 2007 Report Posted October 30, 2007 Fredbot, tell us what you really think. Start small, maybe with which headphones you might like here, then work your way up to why. His favorite headphone by far is the SoundOn PHR-400.
boomana Posted October 30, 2007 Report Posted October 30, 2007 His favorite headphone by far is the SoundOn PHR-400. Maybe he should send us all some so we can tell him what we think, since he seems to be lacking in the vocabulary for such commentary.
Dusty Chalk Posted October 30, 2007 Report Posted October 30, 2007 I think you're reading "bot" a little too literally -- there's the physical robots with which we are familiar from the movies, and then there's the world wide web "bots" that are just programs that do stuff repeatedly. He's of the latter variety. Unless someone builds him a Mindstorms kit.
laxx Posted October 30, 2007 Report Posted October 30, 2007 Of the 2 meets I've been to, I've never heard an AT can yet. I tell myself every time that I am going to try the leather heads and w5000's, but I forget once I'm surrounded by people to chat with. Hopefully, if I can go in November, I'll actually try one.
