postjack Posted October 10, 2007 Report Posted October 10, 2007 This was not here when I bought these from jpak. Now I'm looking to sell these, and I see this white grunge on my headband: Is this something normal that happens to the headband? It doesn't seem to wipe off, but I'm not wiping that hard because I don't want to rip the material.
postjack Posted October 10, 2007 Author Report Posted October 10, 2007 ewww. remind me never to buy one of your hats. hey, my head is clean! i rinse it at least once every week or two and get in a good scrub with dish soap for holidays. plus on friday nights i coat it with only the finest vegetable oils.

boomana Posted October 10, 2007 Report Posted October 10, 2007 insert comment about too much masturbating with headphones Ignoring comment about masturbating with headphones. Looks like dried sweat to me. Clean that off pronto!
jinp6301 Posted October 10, 2007 Report Posted October 10, 2007 Ignoring comment about masturbating with headphones. Looks like dried sweat to me. Clean that off pronto! but seriously, I dont think dried sweat becomes white, or am I wrong?
boomana Posted October 10, 2007 Report Posted October 10, 2007 but seriously, I dont think dried sweat becomes white, or am I wrong? Yep. Salt stains. Learned that in Home Economics in 6th grade. At least it should be easy to clean.

If its just salt stains, it should come off pretty easily off pleather (which what it looks like) with a damp cloth.

JBLoudG20 Posted October 10, 2007 Report Posted October 10, 2007 So what's the reason you were sweating so much in Home Ec? Practicing for the baby making?
postjack Posted October 10, 2007 Author Report Posted October 10, 2007 thanks all, it scrubbed right off with a damp cloth. now why the hell would that only show up on my K340? plus its not like I pour sweat while being sedentary listening to headphones.
deepak Posted October 10, 2007 Report Posted October 10, 2007 thanks all, it scrubbed right off with a damp cloth. now why the hell would that only show up on my K340? plus its not like I pour sweat while being sedentary listening to headphones. Isn't it wicked hot in the souf? Plus y'all lose power a few times a week...?
JBLoudG20 Posted October 10, 2007 Report Posted October 10, 2007 you know, with modern science, one can do the deed without the babies. That defeats the purpose of home ec.
postjack Posted October 10, 2007 Author Report Posted October 10, 2007 Isn't it wicked hot in the souf? Plus y'all lose power a few times a week...? yeh i forgot its hot as hell son, damn. plus when i lose power like three times a week i have to ride a bike to work the generator and listen to my cans, which splains teh swet.
grawk Posted October 10, 2007 Report Posted October 10, 2007 The semen you've been ingesting is leaking out of your scalp
boomana Posted October 10, 2007 Report Posted October 10, 2007 So what's the reason you were sweating so much in Home Ec? Practicing for the baby making? Well, can't say much actual sweating went on, nor baby making practice. We were eleven years old! This was back in 1970, when Home Ec was still geared toward grooming girls to be housewives. We learned to cook and sew and take stains out of clothes, not that I showed talent in any of those areas. I actually liked metal shop, which they also had in middle school in those days, but the powers that be pulled me out of that class so I can finally impart the widsom learned here in this thread. I knew there had to be some reason. \
hYdrociTy Posted October 10, 2007 Report Posted October 10, 2007 My home ec class years ago, surprisingly, had more guise in the class than gurrels. Then again late 90's... Learned absolutely nothing in there, but met my bff there ^0^
