mwl168 Posted March 31, 2022 Report Posted March 31, 2022 It certainly got the family look. Maybe someone at Dyson got creative with spare parts from their vacuum cleaners. 1
Grahame Posted March 31, 2022 Report Posted March 31, 2022 Needs Moar RGB https://www.razer.com/gear-accessories/razer-zephyr Or time for a colab?
blessingx Posted March 31, 2022 Author Report Posted March 31, 2022 The product has four hours' battery life in low-filtration mode, according to Pocket-lint, or 1.5 hours in high filtration.
mikeymad Posted March 31, 2022 Report Posted March 31, 2022 I don't know, it seems that we are getting pretty close to Bane territory. 3
blessingx Posted March 31, 2022 Author Report Posted March 31, 2022 Product page up now. https://www.dyson.com/wearables/dyson-zone-air-purifying-headphones/announcement
Craig Sawyers Posted March 31, 2022 Report Posted March 31, 2022 Er - where are the batteries to (a) operate the pumps (b) operate the noise cancelling and (c) amplify the audio; which comes from precisely where? And since a person while walking might breathe in 20-30 liters per minute (100 when exercising), the pumps would have to deliver at least 0.5 liters per second even for someone walking around. And how often do you have to replace the filters? Unless it really is a sophisticated just pre April 1st hoax.
Craig Sawyers Posted March 31, 2022 Report Posted March 31, 2022 No - it looks real https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-60927032 which includes the answer to some of those questions. This is son-of-Dyson, Jake, who runs his own company bankrolled by his father. He was the guy who introduced an LED adjustable and counterbalanced light that cost £ or $600.

blessingx Posted March 31, 2022 Author Report Posted March 31, 2022 I wonder if the earlier prototypes had more time? 6

rod Posted May 2, 2022 Report Posted May 2, 2022 Tim Vine is my cup of tea so dad jokes rock. Who is Tice?

blessingx Posted May 3, 2022 Author Report Posted May 3, 2022 I've always wondered when a joke becomes a dad joke. I guess when it's apparent. 2 2
swt61 Posted May 3, 2022 Report Posted May 3, 2022 Ironically I've never been a Dad, though I've been called Daddy many times. 1 1
