March 16, 200620 yr I may be making too big of an assumption, but most modern motherboards have built in soundcards. look for the blue or green jacks on mobo panel. If you've got them, then install the soundcard drivers and plug in your headphones/amp/speakers or whatever wierd thing you desire. Thanks for the detailed reply.
