en480c4 Posted September 28, 2007 Report Posted September 28, 2007 Considering the US Season 3 premier is 5 minutes away, I figured it was time to start this thread. I adore the UK version. I adore the US version. "Toby is in HR, which technically means he works for corporate, so he's really not a part of our family. Also, he's divorced, so he's really not a part of his family."
jinp6301 Posted September 28, 2007 Report Posted September 28, 2007 Tobey is satan. We have to do the opposite of what he tells us to.
jinp6301 Posted September 30, 2007 Report Posted September 30, 2007 "As a farmer, I know that when an animal is sick, sometimes the right thing to do, is to put it out of its misery. With the electricity we're keeping Meredith alive, we could power a small fan for two days. You tell me what's unethical."
humanflyz Posted September 30, 2007 Report Posted September 30, 2007 Myth: 3 people every year die of rabies. Fact: 4 people every year die of rabies.
jinp6301 Posted September 30, 2007 Report Posted September 30, 2007 I am not superstitious, but I'm a little 'stitious.
deepak Posted September 30, 2007 Report Posted September 30, 2007 "You should skip the ceremony and just setup a college fund for Meredith's son" - Dwight "Have you seen that kid? He's not going to college" - Michael Also Jan has lost her implants :'(
en480c4 Posted October 5, 2007 Author Report Posted October 5, 2007 Last night's felt more like the UK version than it has in a long time. I thought it was a very cringe-worthy episode, and I loved it. Between the Ryan/Jan interaction (which had a great shout-out to the UK version), Michael taking it to the next level, Phyllis' reminder to Pam about how to route calls from new clients and Ryan's conversation with Pam in front of Jim, it was awkward and uncomfortable and made me laugh out loud more than a few times.
postjack Posted October 6, 2007 Report Posted October 6, 2007 Finally watched episode one. Classic episode, no doubt. "You don't know me, you've just seen my penis."
deepak Posted October 6, 2007 Report Posted October 6, 2007 Creed continues to be one of my favorite characters
jinp6301 Posted October 6, 2007 Report Posted October 6, 2007 "In the end, life is about human connections and computers are about murdering you in a lake."
postjack Posted October 6, 2007 Report Posted October 6, 2007 Creed continues to be one of my favorite characters he's 82 years old?! or was it 72?
deepak Posted October 6, 2007 Report Posted October 6, 2007 he's 82 years old?! or was it 72? More like 30...
en480c4 Posted October 6, 2007 Author Report Posted October 6, 2007 More like 30... In November And the fact that he used toner to dye his hair so Michael wasn't able to print enough new pictures, meaning that shot from Big stuck around!
deepak Posted October 6, 2007 Report Posted October 6, 2007 In November And the fact that he used toner to dye his hair so Michael wasn't able to print enough new pictures, meaning that shot from Big stuck around! Yes! The printer ink joke was so subtle and hilarious
postjack Posted October 6, 2007 Report Posted October 6, 2007 In November And the fact that he used toner to dye his hair so Michael wasn't able to print enough new pictures, meaning that shot from Big stuck around! oh, he said twenty-nine. Christ he's so insane.
deepak Posted October 12, 2007 Report Posted October 12, 2007 Andy and Dwight...friends? I think this was the best episode this season.
jinp6301 Posted October 13, 2007 Report Posted October 13, 2007 the first part where the look at the DVD screen to see if its going in the corner I used to do that all the time in HS
deepak Posted October 19, 2007 Report Posted October 19, 2007 "I would have been chief of surgery...or a cowboy"
en480c4 Posted October 19, 2007 Author Report Posted October 19, 2007 Not to mention the triumphant return of Garbage! Too many great moments this week to count. A few of my favorites... The whoever/whomever debate, Kelly & Daryl, the Irrigation Room, "Tablemaking never seemed so possible." Great episode. I think the 1/2 hour or supersized format suits The Office a little better, but I'll be more than a little sad to see the hour-longs go.
postjack Posted October 19, 2007 Report Posted October 19, 2007 I haven't watched this weeks, but I loved the Daryl and Kelly thing last week. "why don't you get back out there and sell reams, like a man."
