Nanoha Posted September 18, 2007 Report Posted September 18, 2007 i didn't know you were a natsumen fan hi5 Haha. Yes, I do enjoy Japanese jazz fusion.
hungrych Posted September 18, 2007 Report Posted September 18, 2007 Looks cool, I'll try to find it somewhere. I'm really enjoying all the japanese jazz I've found recently, between this, Masabumi Kikuchi, Soil & "PIMP" Sessions, and Sleep Walker. There's an interesting style going on...

postjack Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 hey Hungry, this is off topic, but you should track down a copy of this: http://www.elusivedisc.com/prodinfo.asp?number=TBMXR-0066 i put it on my wishlist. you better not be starting me down a road littered with expensive rare japanese leftfield jazz xrcds.
Icarium Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 Pfft you guys are way behind. I mentioned Natsumen MONTHS ago in my Japanese indie thread on head-fi. If you like them should check out toe and Special Others - Uncle John or really anything that Special Others does.
Icarium Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 Oh and of course the precursor to Natsumen basically Natsumen slightly more polished and with vocalists, Boat.

Icarium Posted September 21, 2007 Report Posted September 21, 2007 Actually I'm not a fan of them. Their sound doesn't vary enough for me and they are tooo jazz. I'm not a big Jazz fan in general though I played was in the Jazz Band in high school.
