philodox Posted August 24, 2007 Report Posted August 24, 2007 I'll take that before TV, but the after is very nice... Quote
KenW Posted August 24, 2007 Report Posted August 24, 2007 Congrats. Nice TV. I'm in the same boat. The new unit is due sometime mid next week and next Friday, I'm having a new high def install done. If everything goes according to plan, I'll be enjoying the opening weekend of college football in high def! Must be nice to have it all in and finished. I feel like a kid waiting for xmas morning to finally arrive. Quote
PFKMan23 Posted August 24, 2007 Report Posted August 24, 2007 Nice TV. The duct tape chair makes me sad though. Quote
kevin gilmore Posted August 24, 2007 Author Report Posted August 24, 2007 Nice TV. The duct tape chair makes me sad though. Yeah i know, the dogs when they were puppies... But the father in law with that crap he used to put in his hair dissolved the finish of most of the top of the leather anyway. So basically a completely new upholstery job is necessary. New couch and new chair very soon. Quote
tkam Posted August 24, 2007 Report Posted August 24, 2007 You have your priorities straight: TV > Furniture Quote
kevin gilmore Posted August 24, 2007 Author Report Posted August 24, 2007 You have your priorities straight: TV > Furniture Most furniture does not plug in the wall. Most furniture is not on perpetual back order. Really good furniture lasts a very long time, especially when not abused. The one couch i'm not replacing is 25 years old, in absolutely perfect shape and very comfortable. The dogs sleep on it much of the time, but evidently it does not taste good enough for them to chew. Really need a 100 inch lcd panel for the serious media room. Too bad they are not available yet. Quote
Dusty Chalk Posted August 24, 2007 Report Posted August 24, 2007 Did you photoshop that picture at all? Because the "after" looks really sharp. Nice! Quote
Nanoha Posted August 24, 2007 Report Posted August 24, 2007 I have recently discovered the wonders of large televisions. We do not own of course (family TV is a 27" thing), but large TVs are so darn pleasing to look at. Quote
