Monsieur Spade - very well-done. Cinematically filmed, with a smartly-written script, yet subtly so (as in using language well, not in the "I'm smarter than you" way). Clive Owen delivers it perfectly. Six episodes.

Slow Horses (AppleTV) - finished s1, started s2... Again, late to the party, but after finishing Ted Lasso, I figured my ear was already trained for a variety of British accents, so...

I probably should just put everything that Pars, Grahame, Torpedo, & blessingx recommend onto my watch-lists.

Recently came across a reference to The Secret Diary of Desmond Pfeiffer (UPN 1998). Somehow not only did this make it to production, but four episodes were aired, before being canceled.

Jack of All Trades (2000)

Bruce Campbell does it again! It's in a shorter format than The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr. (22-minute episodes), but brilliant, nevertheless.

American secret agent Jack Stiles is sent to the fictional French-controlled island of Pulau-Pulau in the East Indies in 1801 by President Thomas Jefferson to stop Napoleon and various other threats to the United States.

Mr. McMahon. Have zero interest in “sports entertainment”, but someone recommended I watch this six-part series to get a condensed view of the rise of incels, the Trump GOP takeover, and the loss of focus on truth, and gotta admit it’s pretty good through that lens.

I did not think I would end up liking this show as I’m not much of a comic book/superhero person.

Well, through four episodes this is not that! I find myself enjoying this show quite a bit. Colin F is almost unrecognizable and I always have enjoyed Cristin as the other lead.

So far, so good! Surprisingly enjoyable.

^This!

Farrell disappears in his performance under the body suit. But Milioti is an amaaazing actress, who secures Sofia Falcone's place as the most badass mafiosa of all time in episode 4 (Cent'Anni).

Just finished

The Diplomat: Season 2

Intrigue, smart writing, twists and turns, and fabulous interiors and locations.

File under political escapism.

Same and I'm not proud.

We all want Tyson to win by design. He will lose by design.

I'd be thrilled to be wrong.
