For those of us in the U.S., today is reserved to commemorate the fallen, those who have put themselves in harms way and paid the ultimate price.  Spring is usually a time of celebration, and with things slowly turning back to normal, spirits are high, and I don't wish to take away from that.  But take a moment, and remember someone or multiple someones, and remember them well.  Celebrate the good things about them.

I have multiple extended family members who are or were in the military, but the one I was closest to and miss the most is Greg, a splendid specimen of a motherfucker.  To Greg!

(I will raise a glass and have a drink to him later, as it is way too fucking early in the morning to start drinking.)
