NightWoundsTime Posted March 9, 2006 Report Posted March 9, 2006 I've heard rumors of various public figures having accounts on head-fi. They never get outed over there because we all know how much celebrities hate publicity (yea right). So any of you forum addicts got any usernames to go with some big names? We're all friends here and I'm just curious. Quote
Thaddy Posted March 9, 2006 Report Posted March 9, 2006 Rickcr42 = Mike Tyson Shhhh! He's a member here! I think he posts under the name "mjg" though... Quote
philodox Posted March 9, 2006 Report Posted March 9, 2006 Scrypt wrote a book and Tubes is Shaqs cousin... Quote
elnero Posted March 9, 2006 Report Posted March 9, 2006 Scrypt wrote a book and Tubes is Shaqs cousin... Scrypt did write a book but I'm betting the whole Shaq thing was a figment of Tuberoller's rather vivid imagination. Quote
Thaddy Posted March 9, 2006 Report Posted March 9, 2006 Yeah, and that doesn't really make him a celebrity anyways. It's like those guys who stand in the back during the rap video's. You know they only got on the set because their cousin's friend is 50 Cent's jeweler. I've got a couple records (4x800, DMR, 3000M run) at my University, so I guess that makes me an on-campus celebrity Quote
NightWoundsTime Posted March 9, 2006 Author Report Posted March 9, 2006 Lol, I bet Scrypt's book is unreadable. That guy can construct a sentence that looks really cool but means nothing (to me at least). Quote
Post Posted March 9, 2006 Report Posted March 9, 2006 We have someone who was a major leaguer, played in the outfield for the Minnesota Twins. Look up the celeb thread. Also, we have a founding member of the Human League and Heaven17 too, not hard to spot. Those are the only other two who have come out publicly. Quote

You have to know scrypt to understand him. And I don't, either, but every once in a while, I get a glimpse of what he's saying, and it's worth the effort. Quote
philodox Posted March 10, 2006 Report Posted March 10, 2006 I'd love to have a beer with Scrypt... not to mention wallijonn. Quote
Mike F Posted March 10, 2006 Report Posted March 10, 2006 Lol, I bet Scrypt's book is unreadable. That guy can construct a sentence that looks really cool but means nothing (to me at least). I've got it and it's conventional in writing...if not in content. I've spoken to him on the phone, he's a speed talker who won't quit but a very nice guy and likes to laugh. Cultural references fly fast and furious and I'd recommend lots of caffeine prior if you want to keep up. Quote
Chrysanthemum Posted March 10, 2006 Report Posted March 10, 2006 I have heard that "GoRedwings19" is a "Queen Latiff" stand in for her movies. Quote

ojnihs Posted March 11, 2006 Report Posted March 11, 2006 We have someone who was a major leaguer, played in the outfield for the Minnesota Twins. Now that is cool. Being from Minnesota and being a Twins fan, I'm going to have to check this out. Quote
