Yeah, but much of the time, they're still digesting, whereas the lawn is mown, past completive.

That stupid grass grew faster than anywhere I'd ever lived. Felt like I had to mow constantly. Of course, I had a dull manual mower.

I didn't know kirkland was so differend from olympia where I live. I swear I've never had to mow the lawn more than twice a year.
