Craig Sawyers Posted May 21, 2010 Report Posted May 21, 2010 Last ever episode of Ashes to Ashes. Mind blowing - you get an "oh shit - *that* is what it is all about" over the last fifteen minutes.
Grahame Posted May 22, 2010 Report Posted May 22, 2010 Last ever episode of Ashes to Ashes. Mind blowing - you get an "oh shit - *that* is what it is all about" over the last fifteen minutes. Concur. Martial Music. Screwdrivers. Police Whistles. All makes Sense now
nattonrice Posted May 22, 2010 Report Posted May 22, 2010 Finished showing the gf all four seasons and movies of BSG and am now currently at the end of season 7 of sg1... too many hours of tv =S
luvdunhill Posted May 22, 2010 Report Posted May 22, 2010 Concur. Martial Music. Screwdrivers. Police Whistles. All makes Sense now ignoring... I've just finished episode 1 of the current season and am thinking about going back and watching Life on Mars before continuing. I didn't know this was the last season though.
Craig Sawyers Posted May 22, 2010 Report Posted May 22, 2010 ignoring... I've just finished episode 1 of the current season and am thinking about going back and watching Life on Mars before continuing. I didn't know this was the last season though. The end was absolutely not what I was expecting - buckle up for the rest of the series, and wait with anticipation for the last episode. I never watched Life on Mars, but I must get the DVD of that series and catch up. Just bought the first season of Commander in Chief (Amazon - cheap).
Craig Sawyers Posted May 23, 2010 Report Posted May 23, 2010 Life on Mars was great. i haven't watched Ashes to Ashes yet. i'm watching Doctor Who: The Hungry Earth. The Silurians are quite convincing. Consequence of having a big bucks budget. When they last appeared in the '70s and the budget was about a dollar fifty, they just looked like guys in a cheap suit - a bit like Adam West when he was in the Batman series.
The Monkey Posted May 23, 2010 Report Posted May 23, 2010 First two episodes of "Treme". I like so far.
Dusty Chalk Posted May 24, 2010 Report Posted May 24, 2010 (edited) Will be catching up on my hulu, shortly: last two episodes of Community, a middle episode of Human Target, anything else I missed. Edited May 24, 2010 by Dusty Chalk
spritzer Posted May 24, 2010 Report Posted May 24, 2010 The Good Guys pilot. I quite liked it but it's on Fox so the odds of it surviving past 5 episodes are slim at best.
ronnielee54 Posted May 26, 2010 Report Posted May 26, 2010 First two episodes of "Treme". I like so far. Good show. Read the other day it got picked up for another season.
Salt Peanuts Posted May 26, 2010 Report Posted May 26, 2010 My monitor at work flickering and ghosting. I hate this monitor.
Salt Peanuts Posted May 27, 2010 Report Posted May 27, 2010 get a new one. I sure as hell am not buying a monitor for work and they won't replace it until it's completely dead.
Craig Sawyers Posted May 27, 2010 Report Posted May 27, 2010 I sure as hell am not buying a monitor for work and they won't replace it until it's completely dead. Sounds like a case for sabotage.
Grahame Posted May 27, 2010 Report Posted May 27, 2010 ^ "TAKE MY ADVICE!" I say "There's only ONE way to fix a dim display, and that's by power surging the drivers" BOFH
Dusty Chalk Posted May 27, 2010 Report Posted May 27, 2010 Moar Big Bang Theory -- very enjoyable show. Like the smart jokes and the nerd jokes more than the typical sitcom jokes, but still worthwhile.

Grahame Posted May 28, 2010 Report Posted May 28, 2010 Both Eurovision 2010 Semi finals. Probably not enough Pumping Shiny Cheese for Duggeh's taste, maybe. Seemed to go big on power ballads, with a key change and big finish, sung by statuesque pretty young things, but who's complaining? not me. The final on Saturday should be an enjoyable affair, now we are down to the final 25 "European" nations (that include Israel and many former Soviet Republics) If this makes no sense to you, I suggest you try Eurovision Song Contest 2010: the contestants in pictures - Telegraph (esp with AutoPagerize for Chrome ) and check out the HD videos - fun stuff
