The Monkey Posted December 6, 2009 Report Posted December 6, 2009 I think I heard somewhere that they are "retooling" V.
deepak Posted December 6, 2009 Author Report Posted December 6, 2009 I was watching V, which was going along ok. Now I find out that they are done airing episodes until March? WTF? Are they trying to kill the show after force feeding us add after add for weeks leading up to the premier? I swear the people that runs these things are getting dumber and dumber. Yep it's dumb. Undoubtedly I will forget about it when it comes back. On the bright side we are only three months away from Lost starting up again
Hopstretch Posted December 6, 2009 Report Posted December 6, 2009 I think I heard somewhere that they are "retooling" V. Probably by adding more tools to the production staff, sadly.
Hopstretch Posted December 6, 2009 Report Posted December 6, 2009 I'm kind of a closet fan of "Dirty Jobs", so I really enjoyed these bits from the Reddit interview with Mike Rowe, because he comes off as a pretty cool guy, who sings opera.
n_maher Posted December 8, 2009 Report Posted December 8, 2009 I'm kind of a closet fan of "Dirty Jobs", so I really enjoyed these bits from the Reddit interview with Mike Rowe, because he comes off as a pretty cool guy, who sings opera. You're not alone, I'm a fan.
guzziguy Posted December 8, 2009 Report Posted December 8, 2009 Tank Overhaul. The episode where they cut two damaged Shermans in half and then weld the good halves together to make one good Sherman.
Hopstretch Posted December 9, 2009 Report Posted December 9, 2009 "Better Off Ted" I swear my wife watches this just to get management tips from Veronica. But it is damn funny.
grawk Posted December 11, 2009 Report Posted December 11, 2009 a "feel good" news feature on how they "rescued" sled dogs from canada, and distributed them to homes across america. They took healthy, happy sled dogs who got to live a great life eating salmon and pulling sleds, and sent them south, where they could eat shitty processed dogfood, and live in people's back yards, sweltering. I'm so amazingly pissed off.
Salt Peanuts Posted December 13, 2009 Report Posted December 13, 2009 Watched an episode of Hoarders last night. I wish I hadn't.
Dusty Chalk Posted December 13, 2009 Report Posted December 13, 2009 Just saw Glee finale.Whut? I thought they were going to do a complete season (22 episodes)? Aren't they only up to ep. 13 or something? Joss Whedon was supposed to direct one of them, that's the only reason I care.
laxx Posted December 15, 2009 Report Posted December 15, 2009 I'm playing catchup with Dexter. I'm an ep before the finale.
spritzer Posted December 15, 2009 Report Posted December 15, 2009 Have I got a bit more news for you.
Dusty Chalk Posted December 20, 2009 Report Posted December 20, 2009 They're about to go subscription, because the ads aren't paying enough for them.
Dusty Chalk Posted December 20, 2009 Report Posted December 20, 2009 Has Hollywood completely run out of ideas? Well, they just optioned Asteroid the video game, so my guess is yes, but Ryan Reynolds is playing the wee triangle, and he’s good.Win.
Dusty Chalk Posted December 23, 2009 Report Posted December 23, 2009 (edited) Dollhouse notwithstanding, I declare Castle the best show on television. Before contradicting, please take into account that I watch very little television, and any and all opinions should take that into account. As such, for me, rating a show is either impossible, or very easy. Edited December 23, 2009 by Dusty Chalk
Dusty Chalk Posted December 23, 2009 Report Posted December 23, 2009 It's wonderful. It's so refreshing to see things in a television show that aren't Joss Whedonisms (or remind me of same). Hurry up and watch The Fifth Bullet, it expires in 3 days. Guest appearance by Riley Finn. Well, the actor who played him, that is. And no, I do not understand the expiration schedule -- why they are expiring the most recent episode, I have no idea. But fortunately for me, they had about four episodes up that I hadn't seen, so it was a nice little marathon I had on Sunday.
deepak Posted December 24, 2009 Author Report Posted December 24, 2009 Season four of It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia. Danny Devito is the man
