Salt Peanuts
As for running up the score, I agree, there was no need for that last TD. It's like watching Tecmo Bowl (anyone remember the game?). Of course, Pats probably can't run down the clock that well with Maroney just back from injury. Salt Peanuts
Tecmo Bowl rocked! I loved that game. I remember how you could zigzag diagonally to end zone once you broke off. Man, I wonder if it's one of the downloadable games for Wii.
deepak
why the fuck would the patriots feel the need to run the score to 42-7 in the first half against the 0-6 Dolphins? Because the Dolphins are an embarrassment to the NFL
riceboy
Tecmo Bowl rocked! Oh Yeah. Tecmo Bowl rocked. I wish the Niners could score like the Pats. Well on the plus side, Tom Brady on my Fantasy football team is rocking
ojnihs
Because the Dolphins are an embarrassment to the NFL Sure, they suck. But that's no reason to score a touchdown at the end of the half when you're already up 28 points.

If I'm not mistaken, hasn't he scored the most points so far this season?

I'm not going to lie I'd probably do it Of course I'd just stop trying for extra points and go for 2 point conversions just to see how high it could go (which is also why I'm not an NFL coach )
ojnihs
The Pats could easily send out their second string offense and still win this game, but no, Belichick still has his first string on going for more points. The problem is Belichick, who is an absolute stain on the face of the NFL and he is poor for the sport of American football.

ojnihs
I could have sworn the idea of the game is to score points. 42-7 is enough especially when you're playing an 0-6 team, give me a fucking break
JBLoudG20
42-7 is enough So stop doing your job? Want to hire me? Its ok for me to leave work at 10am and get paid for the day if I did all my stuff on time?
n_maher
42-7 is enough especially when you're playing an 0-6 team, give me a fucking break I believe the theory is that if the Dolphins don't like it they should do something about it. What do you want the Patriots to do, kneel on the ball for the next 30 minutes and let the Dolphins back into the game?
ojnihs
you can put the second string in, and i guarantee you, the patriots will probably still score more points. it's pretty simple. i never said anything about kneeling the ball over and over again. that's ridiculous. Salt Peanuts
Ahhh, Comcrap. I hated it too when it used to be my ISP. Now it just provides my Cable TV. Soon, they'll be gone as well since FiOS TV is finally available in my town.
