Grahame Posted August 24, 2016 Report Posted August 24, 2016 Keep on Binge watching Steve!, it's the only way. (Plus no wasted time on "Previously on ...") Quote
swt61 Posted August 24, 2016 Report Posted August 24, 2016 Just finished episode 4. I'm totally hooked! I'm quite sure I'll finish season one tomorrow night. 1 Quote
Dusty Chalk Posted August 24, 2016 Report Posted August 24, 2016 Lollers, I had to force myself not to binge watch it. For when you all are done (still no obvious Under the Skin stylistic reference): Quote
swt61 Posted August 24, 2016 Report Posted August 24, 2016 Sorta played hooky, and finished up Season 1. I was totally entertained. The sucky part is it'll be a year or so for season 2. 4 Quote
TMoney Posted August 24, 2016 Report Posted August 24, 2016 ^ Amen. ST was definitely one of the pleasant surprise shows of this year. Now we wait. Quote
shellylh Posted August 26, 2016 Report Posted August 26, 2016 Started watching Stranger Things tonight but it's too scary for me to watch alone. Quote
morphsci Posted August 27, 2016 Report Posted August 27, 2016 Finished, Stranger Things. 'Twas excellent, but then again every Netflix original I have watched has been excellent. 2 Quote

ironbut Posted August 30, 2016 Report Posted August 30, 2016 One of my all time favorite funny films! Every time I watch it, I get a new fav scene (and I just noticed the smiley face button in the poster). Cloris Leachman confessing ",.. he was my boyfriend!" or the fact that Gene Hackman didn't want to be billed as the blindman. First time I saw it was on a date. I don't even remember who the gal was! 3 Quote
morphsci Posted September 1, 2016 Report Posted September 1, 2016 Peter has been home sick from school the past three days, so have rewatched most of the episodes from the first two seasons of Daredevil. I loved the first season more on the first take but like the second season a lot more after having watched it again. 2 Quote
TMoney Posted September 5, 2016 Report Posted September 5, 2016 I tried to get in to Mr. Robot. The first two episodes were dynamite, but it lost me after that. Made it to the big twist and I think I'm done. Quote

Or maybe you just figured it out sooner'n I did. 2 hours ago, EdipisReks1 said: I haven't loved the second season. I haven't even bothered watching the most recent 3 or 4 eps. Totally digging the second season. That's some fucked up shit right there. The only thing I'm not digging is how they've been keeping the characters apart from each other. Elliott from the others, Angela from the others, etc. But I'm really enjoying the character Streep's daughter is playing. Quote
ironbut Posted September 5, 2016 Report Posted September 5, 2016 The second season is different but I'm still loving it. I can totally understand that it's not for everyone. But I think that's one of the great things about the way the small screen has grown up. When shows try and please everyone, they naturally drift toward the lowest common denominator. If they stay true to the story/message, folks who aren't interested will eventually drift to shows that speak to them. 2 Quote
Dusty Chalk Posted September 6, 2016 Report Posted September 6, 2016 I'm right at the part where they start covering "Smells like Teen Spirit" intermixed with "Kenka Joutou". (!!!) Quote
ironbut Posted September 7, 2016 Report Posted September 7, 2016 Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell is my new fav show via Netflix. I'm only on the 4th episode and I'm worried about running out of season 1! 1 Quote
swt61 Posted September 7, 2016 Report Posted September 7, 2016 WTF? OK, I'll check out episode 1 to see if I like it. Quote

Yeah, they said I might like it, and I do, though I'm in the middle of Penny Dreadful right now, so will probably finish that first. I think I watched one or two episodes. But now I got Blacklist season 3, too...argh... Quote
