Dusty Chalk Posted March 18, 2015 Report Posted March 18, 2015 "Girding your loins?" NOT "Good in your loins?" Jesus fucking Christ these people are incompetent. That said, the movie is phenomenal -- another wonderful black comedy from Ben Wheatley. More ... abstract than Kill List or Sightseers. And yet, I feel it's his most complete, his most accomplished. And shovels feature prominently. To the front of the head even, once.
Voltron Posted March 18, 2015 Report Posted March 18, 2015 "Girding your loins?" NOT "Good in your loins?" Jesus fucking Christ these people are incompetent. Sounds like the porn version.
Dusty Chalk Posted March 18, 2015 Report Posted March 18, 2015 iZombie -- not sure why they call it this, but I thoroughly enjoyed the pilot -- it is exactly what the commercial promises it is. Plus, Rob Thomas (Veronica Mars).
tkam Posted March 21, 2015 Report Posted March 21, 2015 All caught up with Justified now, starting to watch Bosch on Amazon Prime 1
spritzer Posted March 22, 2015 Report Posted March 22, 2015 He does have a nice vintage McIntosh setup. Not sure what the speakers are, could be old AMT or something like that.
ironbut Posted March 22, 2015 Report Posted March 22, 2015 He does have a nice vintage McIntosh setup. Not sure what the speakers are, could be old AMT or something like that. If you're talking about "Bosch", those are Ohm's. Really a classic "music lover's" speaker. http://www.soundadviceblog.com/home-theater/ohm-walsh-speakers-unique-technology-stunning-performance/

Dusty Chalk Posted March 27, 2015 Report Posted March 27, 2015 Garfunkel & Oates (on Netflix streaming)
Dusty Chalk Posted March 27, 2015 Report Posted March 27, 2015 I liked episode 2 even more than the pilot. So why is the comic book called iZombie? Is there an apple product involved? I guess my point was, it should be called "I, Zombie". Or "Liv, the twenty-something Undead Girl". Or "How to be a Zombie in a post-zombie-apocalypse world and survive".
