Salt Peanuts Posted September 29, 2007 Report Posted September 29, 2007 Game finished as my network inexplicably struggled to upload my previous post. Now, let's see if Yankees would cooperate. Quote
Chekhonte Posted September 29, 2007 Report Posted September 29, 2007 i'm watching planet earth the national geographic BBC documentary on Blu-Ray and it's is amazing. This is my first venture into hi-def and am impressed. Who ever says they can't really tell the difference between blu-ray and DVD haven't been paying attention. Gone are grain and compression artifacts. There are fewer times where you can see the limited color scale in dimly lit scenes. I'm going to go out and buy 2001 a space odyssey. (god why do I have to look up how to spell odyssey every fucking time!). I can't wait to see that movie in high-def with uncompressed audio! Quote
en480c4 Posted September 29, 2007 Report Posted September 29, 2007 That's a little strange... The Red Sox game ends, they put the Yankees/Orioles game on the Jumbotron and 30,000 people stay @ Fenway to see if the Red Sox can win the division. Crazy! Quote

Absorbine is way jealous of that. Just got done watching Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters. Quote

en480c4 Posted September 29, 2007 Report Posted September 29, 2007 Good Luck Chuck Pretty mediocre, but wow... The little scene during the credits at the end should not be missed. Wow! The hardest I laughed during the whole movie was after the closing credits started to roll! Quote
Chekhonte Posted September 29, 2007 Report Posted September 29, 2007 I'm watching freaks and geeks for the first time and am loving it. Quote

jinp6301 Posted September 29, 2007 Report Posted September 29, 2007 Tis a day of crappy movies with Jessica Alba in it! fixed your quote Quote

Salt Peanuts Posted September 29, 2007 Report Posted September 29, 2007 The Secret Life of Formula One That sounds fun. I used to follow Formula One when I was a wee little kid living in Japan. Living near the Suzuka Circuit helped (though I never go to go to any F1 races there). Quote

Living near the Suzuka Circuit helped (though I never go to go to any F1 races there). Yeah I really got into it when I started going to school in Europe. Used to watch every race with a close friend. I wish I got into it earlier. I almost went to the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal this summer, but it never panned out. Quote
Salt Peanuts Posted September 29, 2007 Report Posted September 29, 2007 The Suzuka Circuit is pretty cool, especially for a little kid, since there's an amusement park connected to it. It was fun to watch few non-major races there, and I loved going to the amusement park. Quote

hungrych Posted September 30, 2007 Report Posted September 30, 2007 This is not very recent, but Top Gear was on BBC America the other day. I haven't really seen much of it, but I absolutely loved it. Are there region 1 dvds of it or do I have to torrent it? Quote
