Strike Back,” beginning Friday night, is a British variation on “24” that offers reasonably competent action scenes, depressingly casual depictions of torture and death, and a comic-book conspiracy story line while also being an efficient nudity delivery system. It’s the kind of show in which an agent doesn’t realize there are terrorists in the hotel lobby because he’s upstairs having it off with the waitress he met 10 minutes ago.

Zombies: A Living History. While I do have some disagreements with some of their facts it has been an interesting documentary on how to fight zombies and rebuild.

Last night:Two episodes of Sister Wives, then half a Prison Wives, then 1/3 of 17 Kids and Counting, then a bit of Table for 12, then the full Toddlers & Tiara pilot. Sister Wives win.

Yes, just started a few weeks ago and the wife and I are through the first three episodes. I like it so far.

I am liking it a lot. Sort of Rubicon-ish, but better paced.

Yeah Homeland is great throughout the whole first season, there are some great twists in it. I still prefer Rubicon, but only because I like conspiracies.

Should have some time now, in my post-Santa blues month of January to catch up a bit.

I'm now in the middle of Deadwood, and have become a big fan of Al Swearengen. Can't wait to see what the dirty bastard will do next.

Have The Wire and Six Feet Under waiting on deck. Have had them all for some time, and glad to finally be getting to them!
