Grahame Posted October 24, 2011 Report Posted October 24, 2011 “Strike Back,” beginning Friday night, is a British variation on “24” that offers reasonably competent action scenes, depressingly casual depictions of torture and death, and a comic-book conspiracy story line while also being an efficient nudity delivery system. It’s the kind of show in which an agent doesn’t realize there are terrorists in the hotel lobby because he’s upstairs having it off with the waitress he met 10 minutes ago. http://tv.nytimes.com/2011/08/12/arts/television/strike-back-on-cinemax-anti-terrorism-drama-review.html
VPI Posted October 26, 2011 Report Posted October 26, 2011 Zombies: A Living History. While I do have some disagreements with some of their facts it has been an interesting documentary on how to fight zombies and rebuild.
tyrion Posted October 26, 2011 Report Posted October 26, 2011 Love Strike Back. It's a cross between The Unit and MI-5.

tyrion Posted January 7, 2012 Report Posted January 7, 2012 Homeland- anyone else watching this? Great show although I've fallen behind. Got both my kids into it.
HDen Posted January 7, 2012 Report Posted January 7, 2012 Yeah Homeland is great throughout the whole first season, there are some great twists in it. I still prefer Rubicon, but only because I like conspiracies.
Wmcmanus Posted January 9, 2012 Report Posted January 9, 2012 Should have some time now, in my post-Santa blues month of January to catch up a bit. I'm now in the middle of Deadwood, and have become a big fan of Al Swearengen. Can't wait to see what the dirty bastard will do next. Have The Wire and Six Feet Under waiting on deck. Have had them all for some time, and glad to finally be getting to them!
