Dusty Chalk Posted September 10, 2010 Report Posted September 10, 2010 Are you talking about us, or the stars of the show?
jinp6301 Posted September 10, 2010 Report Posted September 10, 2010 I think we're all bitches in the eyes of master dinny, commander of the primate race.
mypasswordis Posted September 10, 2010 Report Posted September 10, 2010 Bitches don't know 'bout his lossless audio compressor.
Sherwood Posted September 11, 2010 Report Posted September 11, 2010 "Dogtooth". Billed as a darkly comic exploration of teen alienation and the breakdown of families. Greek. Should be fun!
Eric5676 Posted September 12, 2010 Report Posted September 12, 2010 Like yesterday, anything that's not news coverage. Football is on the viewing docket for me today just like yesterday.
emelius Posted September 12, 2010 Report Posted September 12, 2010 Go Colts!... watching Monza later...please no spoilers...
Absorbine_Sr Posted September 12, 2010 Report Posted September 12, 2010 Go Colts!... watching Monza later...please no spoilers... No spoiler on Monza but didn't realize you were an F1 fan. Tifosi?
emelius Posted September 12, 2010 Report Posted September 12, 2010 No spoiler on Monza but didn't realize you were an F1 fan. Tifosi? yep...mainly root for Ferrari & Schumi...i used to go to the U.S.G.P. when it was here...will probably at least try to make it to Austin when they get going...
Absorbine_Sr Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 yep...mainly root for Ferrari & Schumi...i used to go to the U.S.G.P. when it was here...will probably at least try to make it to Austin when they get going... Where were your seats in Indy? We went every year. We started with seats on the main straight but after two years moved to the North West Vista. We could see everything from turn one through turn seven. I will also be trying for Austin. Let's hope it all happens.
emelius Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 first year won tickets so it was N.W. Vista i believe...one year i think i sat in stand H, but the others were where my season tix were...stand J...i liked sitting there the most as you could see the straight, a lotta turns & the jumbotron:)...i'm disappointed that i never got to try the seats they added in turn 6 or 10...
Dusty Chalk Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 watching Sphere on Netflix. it's not nearly so bad a movie as i remembered. You should then watch The Cube. And then perhaps, "The Tetrahedron" -- it's almost like the sphere, except it's not.
Grahame Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 You should then watch The Cube. And then perhaps, "The Tetrahedron" -- it's almost like the sphere, except it's not. How about "The Core". How can it be anything other than as bad as you remember?
Dusty Chalk Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 But if you take away all the faux-science...oh, wait... Sent from mah Droid
Craig Sawyers Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 Cube is okay, though the sequels are lame. not really interested in the Core. maybe Event Horizon will be my next bad sci fi film. i know i watched it at some point, but i don't remember it. I vaguely recall slowing down some of the scenes to see the detail of what happened to the crew. Not pleasant. But you're right, a load of tosh.
Salt Peanuts Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 season 1 How do/did you like it? I liked it, but I prefer the radio program. The TV show felt much more abrupt in its ending and less cohesive than the radio program.
jinp6301 Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 it should have been an hour long show, but overall i like it when I dont have time to listen to the whole radio show.
Dusty Chalk Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 maybe Event Horizon will be my next bad sci fi film. i know i watched it at some point, but i don't remember it.Event Horizon isn't a "bad" sci-fi film, it's a horrific sci-fi film. Or a horror film set in a sci-fi...er...setting. I don't think it even intends for things to be anything other than supernatural.
Dusty Chalk Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 Wait, what?!?!? I didn't even realize it was Paul W.S. Anderson, of Resident Evil noteriety. He's hardly consistent -- Event Horizon is one of my favorite horror movies, and Death Race -- although fluffy not stuff -- was fun.
Salt Peanuts Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 All of the RE movies have been pretty bad, though I suspect the upcoming 3D one to take the cake on the horribleness. They're still entertaining for me when in the right mood, though.
Salt Peanuts Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 ^ That was funny. I didn't know he was making a Three Musketeers movie - didn't someone already make a horrible Three Musketeers movie?
