Wow, she's dead. =O

Dude, spoilers! - Dusty the moderator

And if, by chance, that was not a spoiler (as I'm not familiar with the show), please feel free to PM me, and I'll fix this post.

C?line et Julie vont en bateau, directed by Jacques Rivette

Great surrealist cinema. Really great.

Last week: William S. Burroughs' Haxan. Love the man to death, y'all should get some of his albums if you like his books.

Thanks for reminding me... I've got to pick up Haxan.

Punk, a documentary on IFC. Great documentary, except it's like NYC punk, and DC punk, and London Punk, and then skips LA punk, and goes to 90s grunge/rap punk/etc.

I saw that a year ago (maybe?). Its a good intro to punk if you (aka me) havent had a proper introduction to it :)

I finally got around to finishing the 3rd season of six feet under. That season if amazing. I don't want to spoil anything for anybody that hasn't seen it, but I found my self feeling deeply moved several times in the final episodes. I can't wait to start the fourth.

This led me to do a little googling on the first punk band I ever heard, Subculture, a little band from NC. Their drummer was a classmate of mine. Turns out he went on to join a band a lot more people have heard of, that's definitely not punk. The Squirrel Nut Zippers. So now I have a reason to listen to a band I've basically avoided for over a decade because they're from Chapel Hill... :)

except for what they left out of course :)

Decline and Fall of Western Civilization is a better take on the story, imho.

Watching Deadwood season 3 right now, just got past the fight (Jesus!), and this happened a while ago, but in the scene between Alma Garrett/Ellsworth and Hearst, in the scene where he blocks her way, leans into her and she turns her head, was that a reference to Alien?
