shellylh Posted February 1, 2015 Report Posted February 1, 2015 I've been trying to watch Girls (for the third time) and I just can't stand watching the show. It makes me feel old - all the kids in the show drive me crazy. Now I'm trying out Mad Men again.
tkam Posted February 2, 2015 Report Posted February 2, 2015 The 12 Monkeys SyFy reboot How is it? I've DVR'd the first few episodes but haven't watched them yet.
grawk Posted February 2, 2015 Report Posted February 2, 2015 I'm gonna keep watching, it's decent and interesting so far.
morphsci Posted February 2, 2015 Report Posted February 2, 2015 Good to know since I did like the movie.
grawk Posted February 2, 2015 Report Posted February 2, 2015 they wisely chose a different path for the tv show
TMoney Posted February 2, 2015 Report Posted February 2, 2015 I watched Pete Carroll make a horrible decision to pass when he has the best running game in football and three tries to run it in from the 3 yard line. Would not recommend. 1
Salt Peanuts Posted February 2, 2015 Report Posted February 2, 2015 Going through the second season of M*A*S*H. 1
ironbut Posted February 2, 2015 Report Posted February 2, 2015 (edited) 12 Monkeys has been pretty impressive so far. Best thing the SciFi channel has done since The Lost Room (ended a little weak but was a great ride getting there). I think it's available on NetFlix Edited February 2, 2015 by ironbut

crappyjones123 Posted February 3, 2015 Report Posted February 3, 2015 Couldn't handle all the cheating in Mad Men so I'm watching Louie. I got chastised by classmates for hating Mad Men for the same reason. Glad to know I am not alone in that thought. 1
blessingx Posted February 3, 2015 Report Posted February 3, 2015 (edited) Its arc moved waaay too slowly for me. That's way it always seemed like decoration. Edited February 3, 2015 by blessingx
blessingx Posted February 3, 2015 Report Posted February 3, 2015 Paint Drying (2009), Watching Paint Dry (2013), or Prince Avalanche (2013)? 1
Grahame Posted February 8, 2015 Report Posted February 8, 2015 Locke. Good. Could also have been a radio play.

n_maher Posted February 15, 2015 Report Posted February 15, 2015 ^^ I keep meaning to give it a shot but I'm so far behind on the few shows that I already (try) to watch.
Dusty Chalk Posted February 15, 2015 Report Posted February 15, 2015 My regulars: on CWTV.com -- Arrow and Flash and probably iZombie when it starts; on hulu: Marvel's Agent Carter (she climbs an electrified fence in the first episode without shutting off the power!) and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, Forever, Castle, and Gotham (Moreena Baccarin is crazy cute); on Amazon Prime: Archer. Just finished Dirk Gently. Did anyone else not know that this was made into a TV show? No wonder it only lasted for one season. Darren Boyd! Just started Black Mirror -- fantastic. Also watched the three Ghost in the Shell: Arise OAVs during my absence. Superb! Kinda reboot kinda prequelish, and they made her petite, which I think more suits her character. (I.E. not anime-huge boobs -- they do have one minor character that's more typically anime looking, but not Kusanagi)

You and I share shockingly similar taste in TV based on this paragraph. 1
Dusty Chalk Posted February 16, 2015 Report Posted February 16, 2015 You and I share shockingly similar taste in TV based on this paragraph. Yeah -- let me know what else you watch, maybe I'm just not aware of it. Will probably start catching up on Justified and Blacklist...oh, and Librarians (which is just silly -- you know how silly it is when Bruce Campbell guest stars as the embodiment of the true spirit of Christmas. There is a Forth Arise, Dusty. I have it, but haven't watched it yet. I haven't really liked the Arise series. I'm a big fan of the two original movies, and the two series and its movie, though. Thanks for that -- the way Netflix arranges them (by name -- Ghost Tears; Ghost Whispers; etc.) is very annoying, so not surprised I missed one. I have enjoyed the series, and am a huge fan of the two movies and the Stand Alone Complex series -- 2 seasons and a movie? I may not have seen the movie. Is that Solid State Society? I heard it was just pieces of the episodes glued together to run as a movie, or was that the Laughing Man movie? I think I just answered my own question. Well, I guess I know what I'm renting next. Oh, also: Steins;Gate -- absolutely fantastic. It starts off really light, but gets crazy dark in one episode about half way through. Just heart-wrenching.

Ah crap, I didn't realize that Justified had started back up. Frack, add that to the list that I need to catch up on too. I was watching Scorpion but I'm probably giving it up. It just hasn't lived up to what it could have been.
