Absorbine_Sr Posted September 13, 2012 Report Posted September 13, 2012 So far, I'm rather impressed, but my TV audio setup is letting me down. I'll fix that tomorrow night with the unused NAD pre and power amp hooked to the unused PSB speakers to get acceptable sound downstairs in the living room. Ears wide open Mike... Quote

grawk Posted September 18, 2012 Report Posted September 18, 2012 Just finished season 4 of Breaking Bad. Now we have to find the first couple of episodes from season 5, as our dvr hasn't caught them yet. That's 4 seasons of breaking bad in just over 2 weeks. Quote
n_maher Posted September 26, 2012 Report Posted September 26, 2012 Castle (last night) - it's good to have it back. Quote
shellylh Posted September 26, 2012 Report Posted September 26, 2012 (edited) Finished Season 2 of Boardwalk Empire a couple of nights ago. Now the waiting for Season 3 on DVD begins. Edited September 26, 2012 by shellylh Quote

cutestory Posted September 27, 2012 Report Posted September 27, 2012 Watched an episode of Boss tonight (great), then an episode of The Newsroom. I can see why people complain about Newsroom, but fuck 'em. I'm not gonna stop watching it. It's a fucking fantasy, fer fuck's sake. Quote
deepak Posted October 5, 2012 Author Report Posted October 5, 2012 How to Cook Like Heston. Great BBC mini-series with some uncommon techniques. These are all up on Youtube: http://www.youtube.c...r/godwratherror (the beef one is a bit elementary, but it gets good after that one) Quote
grawk Posted October 6, 2012 Report Posted October 6, 2012 Charging through season 1 of homeland Quote
Dusty Chalk Posted October 6, 2012 Report Posted October 6, 2012 It is my understanding that there are certain scenes that one should not "charge through". Quote
grawk Posted October 6, 2012 Report Posted October 6, 2012 by charging through, I mean we watched all of the first season in under 2 weeks. Quote
blessingx Posted October 6, 2012 Report Posted October 6, 2012 Anyone else watching the O'Reilly-Stewart "debate" in a few hours? http://www.therumble2012.com/ Quote
HeadphoneAddict Posted October 6, 2012 Report Posted October 6, 2012 I'm stuck trying to purchase, page doesn't move... Quote
HeadphoneAddict Posted October 7, 2012 Report Posted October 7, 2012 Kinda pissed that it just started and I can't watch it because they've crashed. Quote
HeadphoneAddict Posted October 7, 2012 Report Posted October 7, 2012 Anyone else watching the O'Reilly-Stewart "debate" in a few hours? http://www.therumble2012.com/ So, apparently this was a big crash disaster like a new iPhone pre-order or something. People that actually paid couldn't watch, not just those who tried to order and couldn't. https://twitter.com/i/#!/search/%23Rumble2012 Quote
n_maher Posted October 7, 2012 Report Posted October 7, 2012 Elementary Please report back, I'm considering watching it. Quote
grawk Posted October 7, 2012 Report Posted October 7, 2012 It's definitely worth watching. It's somewhere between Sherlock and House. Quote
blessingx Posted October 7, 2012 Report Posted October 7, 2012 Which is number one in that 'Holmes inspired' list? Quote
Dusty Chalk Posted October 8, 2012 Report Posted October 8, 2012 Sherlock -- a friend of mine fell in love with Billie Piper/Dr. Who, and then wrote me an email whose entire contents were praising Steve Moffat, and...well, he's right, everything he touches is brilliant. It's too bad I now can't picture Cumberbatch playing anything other than that very quirky Holmes, even though I've seen him in Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. Be curious to see him in Star Trek 2. So now I'm alternating between so many shows, I've lost count: Sherlock True Blood Dr. Who Arrested Development Archer Homeland Torchwood Will probably start: Coupling Chalk Still need to start watching: Dexter Luther Louie Breaking Bad Game of Thrones Six Feet Under Falling Skies Walking Dead Ongoing: Castle Community Quote
