laxx Posted September 2, 2008 Report Posted September 2, 2008 Prison Break, more listening to it than watching it since I'm at work. Quote
Smeggy Posted September 3, 2008 Report Posted September 3, 2008 i think i'd really come into my own during a zombie apocalypse. assuming i wasn't, you know, eaten. It has to be said, you'd make a tasty treat for some hungry zombie. If they were only after brains I think I'd be safe. Quote
Smeggy Posted September 3, 2008 Report Posted September 3, 2008 That's what I'm counting on come the apolacl apokalip acropol ... zombies. Quote
JBLoudG20 Posted September 3, 2008 Report Posted September 3, 2008 the first episode of mad men. Give an impression, please. Quote
jinp6301 Posted September 3, 2008 Report Posted September 3, 2008 I dont think you'll be disappointed. The whole series so far has been pretty well done imo Quote
JBLoudG20 Posted September 3, 2008 Report Posted September 3, 2008 Ok I'm in. Time to rape the UConn hub friday, in preparation for my NYC commute this weekend. Quote
n_maher Posted September 3, 2008 Report Posted September 3, 2008 I dunno, I watched the first 3 episodes of it and wasn't really hooked. I may watch more, I may not, but I clearly had a different impression from Jacob. Quote
en480c4 Posted September 3, 2008 Report Posted September 3, 2008 "True Blood" Interesting. Well, I'm still not quite sure what to think of this. The first few minutes establishes Anna Paquin can read minds, the availability of synthetic blood has allowed vamires to "come out" so to speak, and it takes place in a backwoods town in Louisiana. From there, even after watching the premier, I have no idea where it's going, but I'm sufficiently intriged to come back for another episode. I still need to watch "Mad Men". Quote
n_maher Posted September 3, 2008 Report Posted September 3, 2008 You had me at Anna Paquin, downloading now. Quote
deepak Posted September 6, 2008 Author Report Posted September 6, 2008 Watched the Gumball 3000 movie with a friend. A fellow petrolhead (he just bought a 2003 360 Spyder on a surgery residents salary ); his jaw hit the floor afterwards Quote
grawk Posted September 6, 2008 Report Posted September 6, 2008 Just watched dark knight in the theater. It's better on the big screen than the lousy telesync Quote
Salt Peanuts Posted September 8, 2008 Report Posted September 8, 2008 Dexter S03E01 Goddmanit! I can't believe the new season started already! Must watch the season 2. Quote
deepak Posted September 8, 2008 Author Report Posted September 8, 2008 Entourage I thought it was a pretty good episode to kick off the new season Quote
en480c4 Posted September 8, 2008 Report Posted September 8, 2008 I thought it was a pretty good episode to kick off the new season x2 Struck me as a return to form. Looking forward to seeing where it goes. Quote
en480c4 Posted September 8, 2008 Report Posted September 8, 2008 True Blood isn't real promising i'll give it a couple more episodes... I'm intrigued but not hopeful. I watched the 1st episode again tonight... I had watched the pre-air screener, and was curious to see the re-cast best friend and any other changes. It didn't hold up particularly well the 2nd time around, tough I still have no issues with Anna Paquin Quote
en480c4 Posted September 9, 2008 Report Posted September 9, 2008 Oh yeah... Terminator: The Sarah Conner Chronicles. Sarah Conner has to be the worst driver. Ever. I swear, her constant crashing into shit is kind of a weak plot device. "We're going to get away... Oh wait, I'm going to drive into shit." Not to mention the crippled terminator somehow getting ahead of them, and her driving down a tunnel. Weak. Quote
