if you had forgotten your breakfast again you would have gotten to eat a candy bar.

I know. However, I'm back trying to lose weight so no more candy bars for me. We'll see how long this will last.

Scallops Provencal with steamed dressed seasoned green beans almondine. Glass of pinot grigio. Appetizer was a really good shrimp and pork spring roll from our local asian market. Yum! :D

Just finished some flank steak marinated in soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, black pepper, and crushed red peppers; broiled with onions, tomatoes, portabello mushrooms, and bell peppers; served over brown rice. Simple but tasty.

Did a sausage and basil pizza on the grill. We cheated by using a thin crust Boboli for the crust. Crushed tomatoes and fresh mozzarella rounded it out. And the basil was grown out on the deck. It was very good for a first attempt.
