grawk Posted July 12, 2010 Report Posted July 12, 2010 the no-gluten version of chicken and waffles gluten free waffles (made them for the kids for breakfast), roasted chicken tenders, and cajun gluten free gravy. Works well enough, tasty lunch.
Salt Peanuts Posted July 13, 2010 Report Posted July 13, 2010 So is that horse radish flavor or fire flavor?
Dusty Chalk Posted July 13, 2010 Report Posted July 13, 2010 Bulgogi chickenSo is that horse radish flavor or fire flavor? It was kind of a firey horse-radishy wasabi-y flavor. Surprisingly not bad, I'd have it again.
Salt Peanuts Posted July 13, 2010 Report Posted July 13, 2010 Bulgogi chickenIt was kind of a firey horse-radishy wasabi-y flavor. Surprisingly not bad, I'd have it again. Well, since I don't particularly like wasabi (yes, I'm a bad Japanese), I'll be avoiding that flavor.
Voltron Posted July 13, 2010 Report Posted July 13, 2010 I love wasabi, especially the real stuff I had in Japan (bad gaijin). Now consuming a turkey and swiss with Fritos and a Diet Dr Pepper in between conference calls.
Dusty Chalk Posted July 13, 2010 Report Posted July 13, 2010 It was certainly not real wasabi. Real wasabi has more of a "dry" finish than I remember these having. That said, it was one of the more potent Doritos (or any name-brand chip that I can think of) I've ever had, but neither was it as potent as real wasabi. Those things said, it worked for me as a chip flavor, which is why I didn't call it full-on wasabi-flavored Doritos, and I would have it again if I stumbled across it while in the mood for chips (which I'm usually not).
Absorbine_Sr Posted July 13, 2010 Report Posted July 13, 2010 I have a couple of boneless pork chops marinating in olive oil, balsamic, scallion and garlic to go on the grill shortly. Accompanied by baked potatoes.
jinp6301 Posted July 13, 2010 Report Posted July 13, 2010 Mcdouble. Have no idea what makes this different compared to a mcdonalds double cheeseburger but it's 50 cents cheaper
