swt61 Posted November 12, 2020 Report Posted November 12, 2020 Don't be silly. If you were being attacked I'd simply set off the small bombs hidden under your new smoker. 1

Grahame posts about having a burger at In & Out a lot. I thought it was clever to call it a Grahameburger instead of a hamburger. That simple. I didn't order bacon on it (not knowing that they didn't offer bacon), and posted - the bacon, only because I assumed Grahame would order a bacon burger. I can't for the life of me see why I would have assumed that Grahame would have wanted bacon on his burger. I don't have a clue what softball means. I was responding to Grahame's post to Steve that he should try five guys. "Softball" being an easy setup for Steve's level of wit.
swt61 Posted November 12, 2020 Report Posted November 12, 2020 That's about right. My level of wit is about as sharp as a softball. 🤪 We had a Five Guys in Texas. Not bad, but nothing to write home about. 1

Voltron Posted November 26, 2020 Report Posted November 26, 2020 Covid style lunch at the Marshall Store. Brought our own camp chairs and table. Fish and chorizo stew, Kilpatrick and Rockefeller oysters, and byo-beer. Delicious, breezy, and beautiful. I'm certainly thankful. 9 1
Aura Posted November 26, 2020 Report Posted November 26, 2020 i will be disgustingly intoxicated and indulgent the next time i find myself at Marshall Store with our crew. 3 1
Hopstretch Posted November 26, 2020 Report Posted November 26, 2020 Sorry we missed it but it would have been a lot more COVID-style if we'd been there! 1 1

Augsburger Posted December 2, 2020 Report Posted December 2, 2020 Word to the wise,if you have a restaurant with most of your business coming from take out, make sure you have a employee who is competent in English manning the phone taking orders. I just spent a ridiculous amount of time on the phone talking to an employee who does not speak english. I don't know if I ordered five hamburger dinners or a plate of pickles and goat cheese. WTF! 1
swt61 Posted December 2, 2020 Report Posted December 2, 2020 (edited) Mmmm, pickles and goat cheese! Edited December 2, 2020 by swt61 2
swt61 Posted December 4, 2020 Report Posted December 4, 2020 Yesterday I made my favorite dish from childhood, and it's always better the next day. So dinner tonight is pinto beans and cornbread! Northern born, but Southern bred. 1
