@Jeff : Mission Accomplished / Priorities

@Al : Barefoot Cafe. It hit the spot for me, but all was not sweetness and light. They forgot the crispy rice noodles in Joanne's Chicken Salad, and had to be corrected, and the price on one of the items on the bill was over by $1, which we called them on. YMMV.

It's pretty good. Haven't had brunch, though.

Claire was inspired by Provençal gratins so our own tomatoes and peppers and a squash (not pictured) became a delicious gratin tonight.

Forgot to post brunch photos from Dottie's True Blue Café. Starters for the table were whiskey blueberry coffee cake and pecan cinnamon roll. Then I had a fried egg, prosciutto, avocado and provolone breakfast sandwich on a biscuit.

It was quite good. Not my typical Mexican food but really great combo of flavors.

So what you are telling me is that I now need an instant pot to go along with my other stuff....

Yes. Yes you do. I'll give one simple reason - 6 minute hard boiled eggs that peel like you've never seen an egg peel before. And there are hundreds more reasons.

Can it do servicable sous vide for 1?  I'm probably going to be getting an apartment in oak ridge, tn soon, and don't want to take the anova from home to do it, so being able to just get an instant pot to cover multiple bases would be hugely useful.
