shellylh Posted November 28, 2015 Report Posted November 28, 2015 Fried chicken here too (plus a side of bacon Mac n cheese)... Best "wings" I've had in a long time. Should have ordered the wings instead of the strips though... I always make this mistake. 2 Quote
Dusty Chalk Posted November 28, 2015 Report Posted November 28, 2015 That's funny, because underneath that donut was mac & cheese. I tried the spicy fried chicken, and it was delicious, so I ate the whole thing. So between that and the 3 tenderloin medalions and the pecan tart in a sweet potato thingy (also delicious) and the kale salad, I'd say I ate enough. Oh yeah, and a biscuit. And a meat candy lollipop. All delicious. 1 Quote
cetoole Posted November 28, 2015 Report Posted November 28, 2015 I too had fried chicken, Mac and cheese, and a donut. And some cocktails. This morning, my sister made cheesecake. Breakfast of champions. 2 Quote
VPI Posted November 28, 2015 Report Posted November 28, 2015 Looks awesome. Glad to see you made it home, after watching you drive on Project Cars all night last night, I was not certain you would make it. 2 Quote

grawk Posted December 1, 2015 Report Posted December 1, 2015 is unintentional sous vide lamb a thing? "Oops, I boiled the sheep" 1 Quote
Grahame Posted December 1, 2015 Report Posted December 1, 2015 If you set out with the objective of something else.? How would you convey the non-casual nature of eating this meat? Quote
grawk Posted December 1, 2015 Report Posted December 1, 2015 I call it mindful eating, I just can't imagine preparing something sous vide and eating it without considering what you were doing. Quote
Augsburger Posted December 2, 2015 Report Posted December 2, 2015 (edited) Had another wine dinner tonight and were lucky enough to score a six course off menue Colin level wine pairing dinner. Edited December 2, 2015 by Augsburger 5 Quote
Augsburger Posted December 2, 2015 Report Posted December 2, 2015 9 hours ago, Hopstretch said: Needs moar wine. Technology glitch with posting pictures. Will post update after fencing practice. 1995 Diamond Creek Red Rock Terrace, 1990 Cardinale Meritage, and 2013 Harrington Carignane. All were delicious but the Carignane was surprisingly yummy. I never would have thought this blending grape would do so well standing on it's own. Truly Sir Stretch worthy. 2 Quote
Hopstretch Posted December 2, 2015 Report Posted December 2, 2015 Much better. I actually went to check the libations thread and was all like: "WTF, he only posted about the food"? 1 Quote
Augsburger Posted December 2, 2015 Report Posted December 2, 2015 (edited) I ran out of time to post in the libations thread (what was I thinking?) Wait, there is more food. I missed taking pictures of a couple of courses due to the hot patrons stopping by to look at the wine or something. All the dishes paired really well with the earthy Cabs. Dusty Chalk Posted December 3, 2015 Report Posted December 3, 2015 Funny, I'm having a wine dinner here, but I don't think this is the thread for it. 1 Quote
crappyjones123 Posted December 5, 2015 Report Posted December 5, 2015 Had it earlier. Cornish hen and red skin potatoes. 1 Quote
