Grahame Posted July 25, 2014 Report Posted July 25, 2014 Avacado Fries And some nibbles ... Oh Santa Cruz ... 1
Absorbine_Sr Posted July 27, 2014 Report Posted July 27, 2014 (edited) After an excellent starter for me of pork, sage and paprika soup and for Debbie an asparagus soup, we settled on this for lunch - duck livers and pickled green beans on the left and escargot on the right. All from Brewery Vivant. FYI. Escargot inspiration came from Alden. We'd never had it, and he had mentioned it this weekend. It was awesome. Edited July 27, 2014 by Absorbine_Sr 2

Absorbine_Sr Posted August 1, 2014 Report Posted August 1, 2014 Grilled shrimp that were marinated in fresh lime juice and olive oil, then dusted with chili powder. Accompanied by gazpacho made from scratch. A nice Riesling and some crusty bread rounded things out quite nicely. 1
morphsci Posted August 3, 2014 Report Posted August 3, 2014 Earlier, a ton of meat at Fogo de Chao. I think I am still in a slight meat coma. 1

VPI Posted August 7, 2014 Report Posted August 7, 2014 (edited) You should try it on a sandwich with all this "Slow Braised Beef Brisket, Apple-Horseradish Cream, 5-Year-Aged Gouda, and Veal Jus" and an egg on top. It was pretty great. Edited August 7, 2014 by VPI
