Just scored a bottle of pappy van-winkle 23 year old family reserve.

Yum.

My local store manager said he'd call me if he got a bottle. He did not. :(

Edit: 1 bottle left! She's holding it for me! Thanks for the tip! :)

Catching up a little:

Yum.

Homemade pizza here.

Really nice looking pizza, Ric, but damn you only made that one little green spot for the lovely nursing mother?! :indra:

Excellent score!

grilled cod with meyer lemons and emeril's spice mix.

Some chocolate that I brought back from the airport in Frankfurt.

a little pain au auvergne from Friday, some Les Trios Petits Cochons saucisson sec, a bit of Le Fin Normand camembert, and a drizzle of good dijon. goes great with a bit of decent Rhône Rosé! i wish i had some cornichons, but one can't always get what one wants. i had lunch at Shapiros, including their Rueben and their to die for mac and cheese and coconut cream pie, so just a little bread cheese and sausage is perfect for a light dinner.

Pics, people, pics!

Cannot be perfect since Samoas > Tagalongs.

x 27, although a Manhattan and cookies sounds pretty fun.

Starting with a warm quail salad followed by foie gras au torchon then sautéed medallions of fallow deer.

And an excellent Sazerac. aef0e153-cf68-c40f.jpg
