cobra_kai Posted February 10, 2012 Report Posted February 10, 2012 Who puts filet mignon on paper plates Looks delicious though
crappyjones123 Posted February 10, 2012 Report Posted February 10, 2012 A guy who is home alone, doesn't like to do dishes and whose awesome gf doesn't care Dessert was supposed to be a big home cooked chocolate chip cookie courtesy of Julie topped off with fresh strawberries, whipped cream, a scoop of vanilla ice cream and some homemade chocolate syrup. Only, I took too long to finish my he and we got hungry
Grahame Posted February 10, 2012 Report Posted February 10, 2012 (edited) Who puts filet mignon on paper plates Crappy, obviously. But he's still washing Steak Knives. He needs http://www.diamondbrands.com/pages/steak_knives/66.php and if he wants to impress, he should upgrade the plates to http://www.mychinet.com/products/family/1 or http://www.mychinet.com/products/family/3 Edited February 10, 2012 by Grahame
grawk Posted February 11, 2012 Report Posted February 11, 2012 120 min ipa battered Dogfish and chips
grawk Posted February 20, 2012 Report Posted February 20, 2012 Just finished 2 cups of white rice, the only food I've eaten all day.
cetoole Posted February 22, 2012 Report Posted February 22, 2012 Yesterday: Chicken sausages, pancakes, and scrambled eggs. Today: Salmon, brined and then sous vide at 50C for 25 minutes with wilted spinach.
crappyjones123 Posted February 22, 2012 Report Posted February 22, 2012 you are getting some good use out of that sous vide machine colin. how easy is it to clean? for someone who eats in paper plates and has now gone down to plasticware. this mode of meat/food preparation is of interest to me.
shellylh Posted February 22, 2012 Report Posted February 22, 2012 Made some roasted butternut squash on brown rice with parmigiano-reggiano, and goat cheese and roasted beet salad tonight. It was delicious.
blessingx Posted February 24, 2012 Report Posted February 24, 2012 Was just introduced to Chocolate Satin Pie.
raffy Posted March 3, 2012 Report Posted March 3, 2012 Brisket and pulled pork with fries, mac n cheese and baked beans
shellylh Posted March 3, 2012 Report Posted March 3, 2012 (edited) Homemade pizza with meat sauce with mushrooms, olives, onions, pepperoni, fresh tomatoes, french fries, mozzarella, parmigiano reggiano, sriracha sauce and herbs. Really loved the french fries, just wish it had some bacon on it. Edited March 3, 2012 by shellylh
mikeymad Posted March 3, 2012 Report Posted March 3, 2012 ^^ yum, with the caveat that it should have bacon..
cetoole Posted March 3, 2012 Report Posted March 3, 2012 Awesome sandwich from a local deli. 16" semolina baked this morning in a coal fired oven, lots of fresh made mozzerella, fresh sliced roast beef, with a lot of chunky au jus poured over it. Every time I get this, I tell myself I will just eat half (thus the half size picture), and end up going and polishing off the rest once I finish.
shellylh Posted March 4, 2012 Report Posted March 4, 2012 That looks pretty good and I don't even like chocolate cake.
blessingx Posted March 6, 2012 Report Posted March 6, 2012 Fleur de Sel Dark and Milk Chocolate Covered Caramels from a recent Woot sale. Pretty sure my favorite part is the sea salt, chocolate and caramel.
grawk Posted March 11, 2012 Report Posted March 11, 2012 I absolutely love those Fleur de Sel Dark and Milk Chocolate Covered Caramels from a recent Woot sale. Pretty sure my favorite part is the sea salt, chocolate and caramel.
