swt61 Posted March 22 Report Posted March 22 Al was in the city today and texted me about my favorite breakfast place, not too far from his city house. I hadn't realized that it managed to stay open through the pandemic. He later texted pictures of their famous hashbrown sandwich. That was all the motivation I needed to head into the city. Even better than I remembered! After consuming that, I decided to visit my favorite SF bakery for their famous croissant pudding. Bread pudding made from their day old croissants. I'll save that for desert tonight. 5 Quote

guzziguy Posted March 24 Report Posted March 24 Nice looking dinner and dessert. I'd never heard of Atlantic Beach Pie before. As it's lemon curd, I'm sure that I'd love it. 1 Quote

Grahame Posted April 20 Report Posted April 20 Just Finished Easter Brunch with the Brits, and one of our group who had just returned from Blighty was kind enough to bring back a culinary treat that makes you think about the real meaning of today. 3 Quote
Grahame Posted Thursday at 10:10 PM Report Posted Thursday at 10:10 PM Hello fellow thought leaders. I'm surprised I haven't seen y'all with some form of this yet? Is it because I'm not following you, living your best life, on the tik-tock's and the 'gram's that I've missed out on this viral internet sensation? With a Nice Cup of Tea. Because. Thoughts / impressions. Anyone else tried it? Quote

HemiSam Posted 11 hours ago Report Posted 11 hours ago Tried a new to us local restaurant, Maison Pucha Bistro. Pleasant experience on the food and drink. For anyone in H-town, I would recommend the escargot, beef empanadas, the bouillabaisse and the lamb osso buco. I asked them to make a rye sidecar and they did a great job...not overly sweet.
