laxx Posted January 18, 2008 Report Posted January 18, 2008 Omelette with bacon, sausage, peppers and mushrooms. Homefries and toast. I love free breakfast and lunch at my company.
JBLoudG20 Posted January 18, 2008 Author Report Posted January 18, 2008 Special K. laxx, you don't happen to work for Con ED?
Absorbine_Sr Posted January 21, 2008 Report Posted January 21, 2008 Another great meal at Cafe Borgia tonight. Fried calamari for starters, followed by grilled eggplant wrapped around creamy goat cheese and garnished with a lime/tomato salsa from the Cold Plate menu. For mains my wife had salmon linguini with a lemon/dill cream sauce. I had a grilled 8 oz. beef tenderloin with portobello mushroom, red wine demi-glace, smashed potatoes and mixed veg. Ended with an espresso and bread pudding with caramel sauce.

boomana Posted January 21, 2008 Report Posted January 21, 2008 Potato cubes, garlic, broccoli, mushrooms, black beans, salsa, and Tofutti brand "sour cream" with guacamole. I also bought a grapple for dessert. I've never had one before so am curious.

If it had more grape flavor I would have liked it more.

ecclesand Posted January 22, 2008 Report Posted January 22, 2008 Just finished some homemade Mexican food. I had a smothered burrito with my habanero green chile. You break into a sweat when the fork gets within 6 inches of your mouth! Love that hot food!!!

If it had more grape flavor I would have liked it more. Not bad, but nothing I'll be buying again. It tasted mostly like an apple, but the smell reminded me of Grape Koolaid from when I was a kid.

It tasted mostly like an apple, but the smell reminded me of Grape Koolaid from when I was a kid. agreed. i thought that the skin was where most of the artificial grape flavor was and the rest of the apple was just an apple. i felt ripped off.
ojnihs Posted January 22, 2008 Report Posted January 22, 2008 when i want grapes, well, i drink wine. haha nice. i agree about the grapple, dumb idea. i mean it makes the damn fruit interesting and all, but if you really want an apple to taste like a grape, then how about some better implementation
